Nice, I don't think I've ever heard of or seen Mardu Auras before!
Much like yourself, I, too, can't math. 🤣
The mana base for Mardu is really clunky, and hopefully, with OTJ reprinting the lands from Kaladesh, inspiring Vantage should help smooth it out.
I do love myself some Mardu, so you know I'll be giving this one a try. Thank you for the opportunity to play against you last night during the live stream. Win or lose, it's a lot of fun.

I’ve been trying to make Anim and Adeline work together with Wedding Announcement, Roaming Throne, and even trying out Jennie Fae to max out token production.
Second game you had the enchantment on top of deck to disable their life link blocker and you put it on the bottom of the deck, then you had the two red 1/1's with haste from the land that could have swung, couple chances to put the game away

I was thinking of a similar deck with RWB, but building around (Mishra, Claimed by Gix) + (Anim Pakal) instead of Eriette. Could make a good vid!

I use roaming throne to double proc Mishra. Bonkers when it goes off. Especially with Sheoldred and Gix in the pile, lots of triggers worth doubling.
If Swayze ever thinks he’s done the math correctly then you already know that the math is incorrect. 😂 I’m surprised Swayze just doesn’t pull out a calculator at this point because I don’t think I’ve ever seen him do the math correctly. Haha

Do you ever feel like the damage from the pain lands gets to be too much or is it manageable?
In an aggressive deck like this it absolutely doesn't matter. In fact it's better to take damage to guarantee that your lands don't come into play tapped when you need to be curving out every turn, and as the aggressor you're not the one who has to care about their life total.
But for a midrange/combo/control deck, you might think twice before loading up on too many pain lands.
I built this deck. I faced nothing but mono black or golgari removal tribal and couldn't get a win. After 10 games I gave up
I genuinely do not get how these TH-camrs get the matchups they do. I’m sure it’s just coincidence or selective games being shown, but I’ve had this happen several times.
@@Navengrey Good days and bad days. Watch some streams and you'll see exactly what happens. Just like the rest of us, sometimes they'll go on a tear with perfect draws, other times it's all removal, control, dead turn 3 to mono red, mana screwed and floods. Plus like you said they are curating the games because it's about making good content not showing every game.
