This is def not for beginner. I realized at some point that she actually did some french seam on the drawstring lining part, took me quite a while to think of the process in the middle of sewing my own tote. Otherwise, everything is good.. thanks for the tutorial
Has anyone else found that that length for the ‘connecting’ piece of main fabric (14” x 3.5”) is too short? The other measurements for the top of the bag being 153/4”?

The 14″ × 3¼″ piece is the handle. And the ‘connecting’ piece of main fabric is 15¾″ × 1¾″. Thank you.🤗🙋♀️
