And he's GREAT at bringing kids along as they work to build their craft/musicianship. Idol was OK. Keith's 3 seasons coaching/judging on The Voice Australia were superbe! Down to Earth, country-boy rockstar mentor. 🎸 🎶 😎
My ex husband sent me this song 10 years after we divorced as an apology. In a strange way, it’s the biggest compliment besides being a great mom, I have ever received!💜💜💜
After nearly 40 years I found my ex-wife and wrote he a letter explaining some things and apologizing. Not long afterward she contacted me and thanked me. She said she broke down and cried for a couple of days, she said it took her by surprise because she didn't realize she needed that. She did love me and I loved her. I was just so messed up and didn't realize or know how to fix it which was why I walked away when I did. I didn't want to hurt her anymore.
Keith Urban wanted to be a guitarist but knew he couldn’t make it without singing. He had a talent for both! Check out his early, live version of You’ll Think of Me.
If you like his guitar on this one you should watch his live version of “To Love Somebody” in a Bee Gees tribute with the living members watching him front and center. He put his soul on that performance, but the best spot is his ad libbing into shredding his guitar. AMAZING blend of his vocal AND guitar talents ❤
I was at this exact concert twice. In Moline, IL and Champaign, IL. I also have it on DVD. What a great hearted man, our Keith Urban is. He writes songs to ladies. Most of the songs he writes are respectful and healing to women.
For years I’ve loved this man! We jokingly refer to him as my “second husband”. Still married to my first (37 years now), but it used to drive my daughter crazy when we’d talk about it. 😂😂😂 He’s a fabulous musician, singer and entertainer! His concerts are epic!
Keith is my wife’s favorite. I’ve seen him live at least 12 times, the dude can play 20 songs each with a improved guitar solo and it’s different every time. Keith live is an experience…
Keith is a main stream country act, who is a legit guitar player. To make it fit the genre he’s very lyrical and the riffs are tasteful to the songs. There’s not a lot of crazy soloing just for it’s sake. It’s actually sounds good.
HE has been playing since he was 6 yrs after graduating from a ukulele! HE is a COUNTRY-ROCK-POP musician producer and song writer besides being a very generous supporting superstar 🎉🎉🎉
I just love ❤️ it when I see some one who really understands what playing great guitar 🎸 is like hearing and experiencing Keith Urban for the first time, and then continues to listen and realize he's not just a country music artist, He's a musical artist who is a genius guitar player, singer songwriter. I only had to hear Keith once, and I was hooked . Watching you react and respond to some of Keith's music is so cool and I enjoy it. I like your commentary, too. Your very insightful!!
What a great message!!! I agree 100%. I’m a 55 year old women’s tennis player. Been playing for 25 years. Will never earn a dime, but I’m proud of myself. 💗
So happy to see you back to Keith! Finally, being recognized…Just Inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame! Keith Urban is the very best concert you’ll ever attend!
There are an uncountable number of amazing guitar players in Nashville right now. He is the best. Hands down. And not just guitar. He also plays mandolin and banjo, (I've heard rumors of piano) and probably a few I just haven't seen yet.
I have seen Keith in concert 5 times and that solo is him going very easy lol he’s absolutely mind blowing with the things he can do with his guitar and make it looks very easy
Listen to more of his songs..I got turned onto to him when I heard duo of him and John meyer....the guitar from both of them out of this world!! He's top 3rd best guitarist in the world! Dude....I can't stop listening to his riffing...almost every song he sings slow or fast he does a long riff in the middle or end. Listen to " raining on sunday" Listen and watch his video version so you can watch his fingers.....
Appreciate the content! Love your passion for the Lord and your family. This song was originally written and recorded by my 3rd grade teachers daughter, I remember her talking about her singing back then. Nearly 30 years ago now lol. Side note…I have the same bracelet you do. Pro tip - put it on inside out, then turn it right side out. Now you don’t have the tab hanging off God bless!
Keith Urban does write or cowrite a lot of his music, but he's not too proud to record a really great song written by someone else, either. This was from a recorded concert of his Love, Pain, and the Whole Crazy Thing tour. I highly recommend it. His shows are amazing and the bedrock of my high school experiences.
This is one of my favourite songs by Keith Urban! That song could not have gone to a better artist. His older stuff is a lot better in my opinion, but he has emotion in his voice but his guitar also gives the same emotion so it’s like a double whammy!
Thanks for the review. If you like Keith Urban and guitar solos, you need to listen to him when the Bee Gees where honored, and he sang their song To Love Somebody, and oh man talk about his guitar skills.
That group of guys was REALLY Amazing! Chris McHugh on the drums, been in the business for decades. Jerry Flowers on Bass has been with Keith since the 90s and their band "The Ranch". Guitar 2, Chris Rodriguez, another stand-out Nashville session player Keith recruited for road band. And Brian Nutter on Guitar 3 (acoustic at the beginning) ended up becoming a custom guitar maker. It's obvious they all like each other and love playing together! This cut is from a DVD from the "Love, Pain and the whole crazy Thing Tour" circa 2009-ish. Get a copy and immerse yourself. Heaven!
Keith Urban is my favorite male artist, all genres. I have been to his concerts twice. He goes all thru the crowd. Puts a stage in the "nose bleed " section. Makes sure every seat has a show. And he sang 2 or 3 songs back there. He also signs the guitar he plays for the concert and gives it to someone in the crowd at the end of every concert.
This is such a fantastic song. I was in 8th grade when it came out and it was one of my absolutely favorite songs! I dont listen to it often anymore but its still beautiful
Thank you Gary for this request. I was just checking the request site yesterday to see if this was there. So glad to see this today and that it was the live version.
One of the best songs ever, and best version, live or not. He won a well deserved Grammy for this song. Glad you appreciate the guitar solo, its amazing :)
It's Keiths guitar skills that drove me to be a fan of him. Honestly at first I thought he was just another GLAM guitarist... Getting on a stage with a Les Paul and just strumming it.... But when I saw him live he blew me away. If you want to have a good time, take the Mrs to a show of his. You won't regret it.
Please check out Keith Urban and John Mayer together! They both just egg each other up another level in creativity! Some of theirs together to check out: Don't Let Me Down; When Summer Comes Around; and Gravity.
I was at that concert and it was amazing. I’ve seen him several times and he puts on a helluva show. If you ever get the chance to see him live you should. He also does “you’ll think of me” sooo good live with a great guitar solo. ❤
Sebs, you asked about our avocations. Sailing has been one of mine, although nothing new as I've been sailing for decades. I still remember when my dad kicked me off a dock in a Sabot (sailing pram) at age 9 with zero instruction and then started yelling at me to "pull the sheet" when I immediately went into irons (drift backward with sail luffing). I had no idea what a sheet was but thought it must be the cloth expanse over my head (incorrect). Eventually I noticed the line leading to the spar under the expanse of cloth, which was in fact the sheet, and pulled on it. Dad was right. Wondrously the little craft started moving forward, powerfully and silently, especially once I discovered the importance of pulling a bit on the tiller to keep the vessel off the wind. Getting underway in that diminutive craft was no doubt the most enthralling experience in my life to that point. And it stuck. I now cruise under sail and live aboard a 15,000 lb, 36 foot sloop and I'm still enthralled by the ability to pilot the remarkable well adapted craft, quietly drawing on nature's inexhaustible power by simply setting the sails to smoothly redirect the wind. It never gets old and routinely presents new opportunities to improve. What more could one ask of an avocation.
From his Love Pain and the Whole Crazy World Tour DVD from like 2001. Look it up and buy it, the whole thing is incredible! You won’t regret it. I bet I’ve watched it 15 times in the last 22 years.
One of the most impressive performances I've seen of Keith is the CMA performance of Little Big Town covering Fleetwood Mac's The Chain. LBT was awesome, but then Keith came out and gave a tour de force guitar solo that just about made you forget the singing that went before. The entire performance was literally "off the Chain".. . Check it out. th-cam.com/video/bAol6yAgD1g/w-d-xo.html
SO glas to see your channel blowing up man! I started with you in the Karl Pilkington days when I was living in Utah a few years back. You definitely deserve all tbe success! Merry Christmas to you and your family.
You know, a lot of times, artists will list somewhere online what pickups they use and strings, pedals, whatever. Might be worth checking out what he's using, here.
Plus is it acousti? I don't clearly see a sound hole. Could it be it's a solid body or semi- hollow body. I learn so much on TH-cam about Mark Knopflear using clean tone. Chet Atkins influenced alot of my favorites. I'm just trying to learn online.
This is keith in one of his best concert's. His playing an all original 1957 Les Paul Jnr through a Dumble amp. His 1 of the world's best guitar players.
Sebs, a 'best guitarist' list is totally incomplete without listening to Roy Clark. He was country star from thr 50's through the 80's (and maybe later, not sure when he died). He was a beast on the guitar, and was also world class on the banjo and violin (and almost any other stringed instrument). Some examples: Malaguena (look for Guitar Wizard, a clip from when he guest starred on the Odd Couple - a popular sitcom in the 70's), Guitar Boogie, a performance of Orange Blossom Special with Johnny Cash. He was known as the fastest and most accurate picker in the business.
I have been waiting and waiting for you to do this one! Sarah Buxton wrote a terrific song. She sang it and then Keith recorded it. It eventually morphed into his version where he added that last extra verse from the "stupid boys" perspective saying he was sorry and lamenting how he lost the girl. It's my favorite song by him!
You must react to Devil went down to Nashville if you want to see just how good Keith is with the guitar. This was early in his American career. He slays it !! It's 7 minutes of guitar shredding like you've never heard !!
Playing an instrument is one thing I would love to be able to do, whether guitar, piano, bass, or mandolin. I've tried teaching myself and even took some guitar lessons, but my 50+ brain has a hard time figuring it out.
When Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban aren't busy working, they love nothing more than spending time together at home with their daughters Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 12. Keith was actually just inducted into the Nashville songwriters hall of fame. He writes, he sings, plays….just an all around great performer!
And he's GREAT at bringing kids along as they work to build their craft/musicianship. Idol was OK. Keith's 3 seasons coaching/judging on The Voice Australia were superbe! Down to Earth, country-boy rockstar mentor. 🎸 🎶 😎
Yeah he writes the majority of his songs as far as I know. Just not this one. But he certainly made it his own!
A lot of people forget how dang talented Keith Urban - he’s so dang good
My ex husband sent me this song 10 years after we divorced as an apology. In a strange way, it’s the biggest compliment besides being a great mom, I have ever received!💜💜💜
I love this soooo much (((❤)))).
❤
After nearly 40 years I found my ex-wife and wrote he a letter explaining some things and apologizing. Not long afterward she contacted me and thanked me. She said she broke down and cried for a couple of days, she said it took her by surprise because she didn't realize she needed that. She did love me and I loved her. I was just so messed up and didn't realize or know how to fix it which was why I walked away when I did. I didn't want to hurt her anymore.
Keith Urban and Brad Paisley are 2 of the best guitarists in country music today. There are some songs with them both performing together.
Keith is one of the best guitarists, not just in country, but across all genres. He's amazing.
Keith Urban wanted to be a guitarist but knew he couldn’t make it without singing. He had a talent for both! Check out his early, live version of You’ll Think of Me.
I love his song, "You'll Think of Me."
My heart is open is good too.
He puts on one hell of a concert... really fun too. You can tell how much he loves it all and is humble ❤

My favorite Keith Urban song! Love the solo too. He's one helluva player. Cassadee Pope(The Voice winner season 3)does a great cover of it.
Keith Urban is one of the best guitarists I’ve seen live… he’s absolutely incredible!
Keith is a main stream country act, who is a legit guitar player. To make it fit the genre he’s very lyrical and the riffs are tasteful to the songs. There’s not a lot of crazy soloing just for it’s sake. It’s actually sounds good.
I could watch him play his guitar all day
THAT my friend is what you call "The. Total Package"!!!

Keith gets a lot of flack for being too popish or wtf ever but no one can deny the man has TALENT! Great reaction! Thanks!
Love it! I requested a few times just through comments and so happy you finally did it.
Making memories of us ~ Keith Urban
I love Keith Urban and can watch him play guitar all day. He's so sexy when he does his solo's. And I can't even get over his shoulder movements.
"To love somebody all around great performance Bee Gees tribute
True
My wife and I saw Keith last summer...couldn't have been a better show!! Absolutely awesome- my wife doesn't even listen to Country and she loved it.
One of the best songs ever, and best version, live or not. He won a well deserved Grammy for this song. Glad you appreciate the guitar solo, its amazing :)
Every time I hear that solo it gives me chills. He is awesome.
Love Keith... such an AMAZING artist

He's phenomenal ❤ 🎸
I kind of had the same idea as you did. But I am now a convert. Keith is extremely talented in many areas. Amazing performance!
He did a mid air flip playing the guitar and never missed a note !
From his Love Pain and the Whole Crazy World Tour DVD from like 2001. Look it up and buy it, the whole thing is incredible! You won’t regret it. I bet I’ve watched it 15 times in the last 22 years.

Yay, yay, yay. You got to it!! Love the reaction! ❤
I saw him live in Australia 🇦🇺 this year he was amazing
Keith is an amazing guitarist and singer.his guitar skills r off the chain.keep going.always do live though!!
He is easily one of the best guitarist in any genre of music today and a great artist and just a very regular guy
You must react to Devil went down to Nashville if you want to see just how good Keith is with the guitar. This was early in his American career. He slays it !! It's 7 minutes of guitar shredding like you've never heard !!
Shelby county jail is another great one
Never to old to learn..I starter the dulcimer at age 58..pretty good at it now..go for those dreams❤
One of my favorites by Keith is a cover of an Elton John song he did called country comfort. Great song and I love the solo in it.
THe drummer carries that song so well.
He also plays piano! His song "Tonight I Want To Cry" is fantastic and the video shows him playing piano and singing.
Playing an instrument is one thing I would love to be able to do, whether guitar, piano, bass, or mandolin. I've tried teaching myself and even took some guitar lessons, but my 50+ brain has a hard time figuring it out.
My favorite song by him
That’s why he is so great and underrated
You would love "For you" it is so powerful and patriotic.
Love this man! ❤ My favorite artist.
This is the one I’ve been waiting for
Seb, you must react to: Keith Urban - You’ll Think of Me (live)
You will change your opinion on acoustic guitar! Keith is beyond a Master!
He sings To Love Somebody by the Bee Gees, and has a small guitar solo in it, but it is awesome!
Check out Keith singing "I'll Be your Santa tonight" pure and humble.
Keith Urban puts on an amazing show Sebs. You should go see him. Love his music! #StupidBoy

Nicole and Keith are still as in love today as they were when they first met. (Keith has guitar lessons online.)
