@stefaniaargento8183 , what's ironic is this very Psalm (and virtually all of the Psalms) include prayers 🙏 for ourselves. Additionally, I'm asking King David 🤴 of Israel to pray🙏 for me, which is different 🙏 from praying for myself. Stefanie Argento, you should listen to the words of this Psalm to realise that it is a prayer by King David for King David 🤴 (albeit not exclusively for himself)
To the team I write: Hello, and hello again. I love this series, I love how you sing the psalms in this manner, but I have a suggestion that I would like you yo try, if you do not like how it sounds, I understand. Everytime the soprano voice (Highest female voice) mentions God, and only God, let her sing the high A, one sneak-line above the stave, and another female voice on Bb, that being in the stave. When the song mentions anything related to ungodliness, like: Vanity; Unrightousness; Evil, let the bass be emphasized, but in that case make the high voices go mezzo-piano, or: moderately-soft. I thought of this everytime I hear ya sing, I feel like it would be a good way to symvolize the Glory of God, and the defeat of unrightousness. What do you think, try it out, listen to it, and it might just work. Wish you the best. Best Regards. -Violinist.
Anthony, We have been discussing ways we can incorporate musical painting into the psalms and will perhaps be trying to test out ideas like this in the future! Thanks for the suggestion!
As a bass singer, I would oppose assigning the 'evil, vain, unrighteous' parts to the bass voice. Musical painting can be in any voice, whether 'evil' or 'good'. Are you advocating 'bassism'?
I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with this piece. The quality you are referring to that sounds artificial is perhaps because there were only two of us singing four voices. I’ve noticed that when I layer my voice it sounds more artificial than having 4 separate vocalists. We have extremely limited resources and very little music production experience so be patient with us while we learn and get better.
Yes! More vernacular chant! Let it ring out from the cathedrals
King David of Israel, please 🙏 pray 🙏 🙏 for me. Amen.
No thanks. The religious vote of Saint Cafasso prohibits to pray for oneself, instead only for the others.Lord will prize in reward the penitent. sa😅

Beautiful
Deo gratias for all your heavenly divine chants!!! From Columbus Ohio!
This is beautiful! Very calm and relaxing. Thanks so much for the hard work you put into all your pieces, they’re some of my favorite arrangements.
I love this type of music, and it is so hard to find! I am very glad I have stumbles across your channel! :)
Five seconds in and I'm already 😳 Well done!
I am definitely going to make a playlist of all 150 Psalms!
Thank you for thiss!!

Very nice!
The harmonization sounds autotuned or made by tech and is distracting. Why not just do melody and drone (human voice with the words) or simply melody?
Because their lungs are not always made of steel.
