- 1. اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو ، فَلَا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
narrated by Abu Dawood (5090) and Ahmad (27898) from Abu Bakrah, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The du’aa’ of the person who is in distress is: ‘Allaahumma rahmataka arjoo fa laa takilni ilaa nafsi tarfat ‘ayn wa aslih li sha’ni kullahu laa ilaaha illa anta (O Allaah, for Your mercy I hope, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for the blink of an eye; rectify all my affairs. There is no god except You)’”
Classed as hasan in Saheeh Abi Dawood
2. ( لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ ) .
That which was narrated by Muslim (2730) from Ibn ‘Abbaas, that the Prophet of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to say, when he felt distressed:
“La ilaaha ill-Allaah al-‘Azeem ul-Haleem, Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb il-‘arsh il-‘azeem, Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb is-samawaati wa Rabb il-ard wa Rabb il-‘arsh il-kareem (there is no god except Allah, the All-Mighty, the Forbearing; there is no god except Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne; there is no god except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne).”
3. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ ، وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ ، وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ ، مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ ، أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ ، أَوْ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ ، أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي ، وَنُورَ صَدْرِي ، وَجِلاءَ حُزْنِي ، وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي
That which was narrated by Ahmad (3528) from ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood, who said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “No person suffers any anxiety or grief, and says: ‘Allaahumma innee ‘abduka wa ibn ‘abdika wa ibn amatika, naasiyati bi yadika, maadin fiyya hukmuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadaa’uka, as’aluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka aw anzaltahu fi kitaabika aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika aw ista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilm il-ghaybi ‘andak an taj’ala al-Qur’aana rabee’ qalbi wa noor sadri wa jalaa’a huzni wa dhahaaba hammi (O Allah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your female slave, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every Name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’an the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety)’ but Allah will take away his sorrow and grief, and give him in their stead joy.” It was said: O Messenger of Allah, should we not learn them (these words)? He said: Yes indeed; whoever hears them should learn them.”
4. الله الله رَبِّي لا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا
It was reported that Asmaa’ bint ‘Umays (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: “Shall I not teach you some words to say when you feel distressed? ‘Allaah, Allaah, Rabbee laa ushriku bihi shay’an (Allaah, Allaah, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him).’” Ibn Majah
5. Salat on Rasullah Salla Allahu Alayhi wa sallam
At-Tirmidhi (2457) narrated that Ubayy ibn Ka‘b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, I want to send more blessings upon you (before offering supplication); how much of my supplication should I allocate to that? He said: “Whatever you wish.” I said: One quarter? He said “Whatever you wish, but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Half? He said: “Whatever you wish but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Two thirds? He said: “Whatever you wish, but if you do more, it will be better for you.” I said: Shall I make all of my supplication for that? He said: Then your worries will be taken care of and your sin will be forgiven.”

اَللّٰھُمَّ رَحْمَتَکَ اَرْجُوْ فَلَا تَکِلْنِیْ اِلٰی نَفْسِیْ طَرْفَةَ عَیْنٍ وَّ اَصْلِحْ لِیْ شَاْنِیْ کُلَّهُ لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اَنْتَ۔
O Allah, I hope for Your mercy, so do not entrust me to my self even for as little as a blink of an eye, and set right for me all my affairs. There is no true deity except You.
2.
لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ الْعَظِیْمُ الْحَلِیْمُ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِیْمِ، لَا اِلٰهَ اِلَّا اللهُ رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَ رَبُّ الْاَرْضِ وَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْکَرِیْمِ۔
There is no true deity except Allah, the Most Grand, the Ever Forbearing. There is no true deity except Allah, Lord of the magnificent Throne. There is no true deity except Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of the noble Throne.

.اَللّٰھُمَّ اِنِّیْ عَبْدُکَ، اِبْنُ عَبْدِکَ، اِبْنُ اَمَتِکَ، نَاصِیَتِیْ بِیَدِکَ، مَاضٍ فِیَّ حُکْمُکَ، عَدْلٌ فِیَّ قَضَاؤُکَ، اَسْاَلُکَ بِکُلِّ اسْمٍ ھُوَ لَکَ، سَمَّیْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَکَ اَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ اَحَدًا مِّنْ خَلْقِکَ اَوْ اَنْزَلْتَهُ فِیْ کِتَابِکَ اَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِیْ عِلْمِ الْغَیْبِ عِنْدَکَ اَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِیْعَ قَلْبِیْ وَ نُوْرَ صَدْرِیْ وَ جَلَاءَ حُزْنِیْ وَ ذَھَابَ ھَمِّیْ۔
O Allah, verily I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of your maid-servant. My forelock is in Your hands, Your command continuously prevails over me, Your Decree concerning me is just. I beseech You by every one of Your names: those which You use to refer to Yourself, or have revealed in Your book, or have taught to any one of Your creation, or have chosen to keep hidden with You in the unseen, to make the Qur’ān the springtime of my heart, the light of my chest, the dispelling of my grief, and the deportation of my anxiety.( Highly urged to memorize it)

اَللهُ اَللهُ رَبِّیْ لَا اُشْرِکُ بِهِ شَیْئًا۔
Allah, Allah is my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him.

Durood and Salat on Mohammad ﷺ
5.اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
.إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ
كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
.إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

Testament of Tawheed (Monotheism)
When you Praise Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ already Knows what you want - this is why in this dua you are Praising Allah ﷻ
Duas are divided in 2: Praising Allah ﷻ or Requesting from Allah ﷻ
Dua for when afflicted with sadness or grief - Allah ﷻ not only remove it but Allah ﷻ will replace it with JOY

wabnu 3abdik, wabnu amatik, naasiyati bi yadik, maadhin fiya 7ukmuk, 3adlun fiyya qadda2uk, as2aluka bi kull-ismin huwa lak, sammayta bihi nafsak, aw 3allamtahu a7adan min khalqik aw anzaltahu fi kitaabik aw ista2tharta bihi fi 3ilm il ghaybi 3indak, an taj3al alQurana, rabee3a qalbi wa noora sadri, wa jalaa2a 7uzni, wa thahaba hammi
Female Version:
Allahuma inni amatuk, bintu 3abdik, bintu amatik
Ya Allah, I am your female slave, the daughter of your male slave, the daughter of your female slave
Ya Allah, I am Your slave, You are my Master, the son of your slave, the son of your female slave, my forelock is in Your “Hands”, Your Command over me is forever executed, and Your Decree over me 100% Just, I ask you by every Name Belonging to You, which You Named Yourself or Revealed in Your Book or You Taught to any of Your 3ibad, of Your Creation, or You have Preserved in the Knowledge of the Unseen with You, Ya Allah Make the Quran the life of my heart, Make the Quran the light of my chest & Make the Quran the departure of my sorrow & release of my anxiety.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said whoever hears this dua should learn it. Allah ﷻ Will take away his sadness & grief & replace it with joy
4. Allah Allah Rabbi, la ushriku bihi shay2a
Allah Allah is my Lord, I don’t associate any partners or anything with Him ﷻ
5. If you dedicate your entire dua on sending salawat to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, then all your worries will be taken care of & your sins will be forgiven. Allahu Akbar
Darood Ibrahimi or any other salawat
Night & day of Friday as Prophet Muhammad ﷺ requested
Many people think that when they are sad or depressed that means their imaan is weak, that they aren’t good Muslims. Absolutely faith and imaan will definitely help when we are stressed and depressed. But does that mean I’m not a good mu2min? No. Some people might have a chemical imbalance and they need to seek help for that also.
