Been listening to this track for almost a year and finally decided to watch the video. Happy to know that the video perfectly depicts the way the track makes me feel. What a beautiful creative experience
This is the Grime highlight of 2014 for me. Personally, this is the direction that grime should have moved in from about 2003 onwards - it maintains the aesthetic of the original sound but it's also a logical progression. No disrespect to other big players this year (Oil Gang, butterz etc) but I think a lot of new Grime (not the shitty trap rip-offs) has a habit of being too self-referential, being overly reliant on Eski beat as if that's the only sound that can be grime. This track is a perfect example of something that is definitively grime yet progressive. Big up Rinse for spotting the potential and definitely big up Murlo for producing a classic. Great vaporwave video as well lol. Sorry for the drunken rant, I just love this track so much!
Non Ofyourbusiness To me, it definitely is influenced by eski beat but the very orchestral drums/percussion and song structure show an evolution of style beyond an old-school grime sound.
+Silly Gome "Future Bass" comes pretty close as a genre. Reminds me of some of some of Hudson Mohawke's stuff. Check out the "Future Beats" channel on youtube as well.

This is eski beat. If this track is inspired by any one producer it would be Wiley. Go listen to some eskibeat and tell me this doesn't sound like it.
