So, is the ‘Sharp’ design a complete washout? I wonder if your green and white design - or a turbine with those dimensions - would be enhanced with the ‘Sharp’ passive pitch system? I hope so, I have my own Sharp turbine design currently printing!
I don't think it is a washout. I'm working on another one. I think this little one had too low a solidity and was not set up very well (I didn't balance it very carefully). It spins okay, and has no problem starting. And I think it would have produced more power with more windings on the coil. (It did not help that we had very little wind for weeks though)
Great design. I like the articulated mount point. I am incorporating into my current design. Thank you for your hard work.
Great. Looks like solidity needs to be higher like the little one.
Agreed.
Вертикалка, это баловство! 😀

@@MickEMaus3000 Looking forward to your next video in that case.
@@Rob-vw3if The next one is going to be a bit more substantial; it may take a while. 🙂
@@MickEMaus3000 hopefully you’ll give some little snippets of your progress along the way
Thanks @@justtinkering6713 I’m not familiar with the forum and no luck after a Google - any chance you could post a link?
Smaller diameters do tend to spin faster
