The best way to save money with screen printed transfers is to supply the printer with your artwork in the same format that they use. It gets pricey real fast if they have to involve their art department, and I suggest finding a printer locally so you don't have to ship things to and from them. Most screen printers will print transfers even if they normally just print T shirts, shop around, let them know that you prefer doing business locally, all businesses like to hear that.
Wow. I'm researching starting a t shirt business, possibly for my first business and I saw your video. Just realized that I saw you and your wife in a video in columbia. Please tell me you got there by selling t-shirts. I will start tomorrow!
Thanks for the feedback! Visit our website www.tshirtriches.com for more information on how to start you own t-shirt business! We look forward to having you as a member in the future and seeing your designs out there! Judy
Was the design on the shirt u are wearing a transfer? i'm having a problem with transfers 11x11"'s tried 2 dif. co's. no good! Works well on one liner's.
what is the difference between using a oki laser printer with the forever dark transfer media vs plastisol transfers like the ones you speak of? plastisol transfer is pretty much screen printing? same type of thickness to the plastisol ink? thank you for your time!
Hi Meagan! We actually have a great Vendors Training program that includes a list of our preferred vendors for both blank garments and transfers. Please visit www.tshirtriches.com for more information! You can also find more information on our vendors training course here: www.tshirtriches.com/screen-print-transfers/ Thanks for watching! Judy
Hello I would like to ask you one question ? I'm a little confused about two things ? first one is the dye ink printers which most printers use ! the other one is pigment based ink ! which one is the best for printing on heat transfer paper then on a T-shirt then using the heat press. Which of those ink is better and last long for heat transfer paper on T-shirts 100%cotton or 50/50 blend,Thank you and your videos are awesome.;)
Hi Segio, We recommend having your designs screen printed onto the transfer paper using a screen printing company. The inks that are used in printers are not going to give you a good quality and durable product, which is why we do not recommend using printers for transfers. For more information, please visit www.tshirtriches.com
Hi Flex McKenzie! We have never run into an issue with outlets. The heat press doesn't use a huge amount of electricity, it is about the same as any other appliance in your home. Hope this helps!
hi, I’m looking for some place to buy the transfers in EUROPE if possible GERMANY. Does anyone know any suplier for preprinted transfers for exactly this technique? Thank you
Profotos Don't ask him, he will charge you for the information but calls himself a godly man... Not at all how things are done in the real professional world. But hey, can't knock his hustle if people are willing to pay for free information.
Hi, we have for purchase a list of vendors that we recommend on our website tshirtriches.com. What we recommend is that you get in touch with them and purchase a sample pack so that you can see what will work best for your company.
Yes you do; however you not only get a list of vendors Tyna T, Mr. Ross has a bunch of videos on how to get your t-shirt business up and running. Personally I think it's worth the money because I didn't have to make all of the mistakes Mr.R did, which means I can not only make money sooner, faster, and more of it. BTW: I don't know Mr.R, and I'm not being compensated in any way from him or his company.
Dont pay somebody for a list of people who will sell you something.. How dp you people get through life?!?! This guy is selling you a 3$ bill for 1$ and you think its a steal lol..
Simple, order more. It's not worth it to order 1 or 2 sheets, when I first started researching that's what I was thinking as well, but it's better to order more. I find it to be financially logical to order anywhere between 50-100 sheets because it just makes sense. Also, you can order samples from a few of those heat transfer companies. I've received samples and catalogs from a couple transfer companies over the last few months.
Cartess In one of your later videos you talk about screen printed transfers, my question is this to you are those transfer still the best ones it's so where can I purchase them through you if there's another transfer that's better than the screen printed transfers please let me know and again where can I purchase those for dark and white T-shirts thank you very much have a great day. Edward Anchondo
Hi Edward! We do recommend Screen Printed Transfers. One of our favorite companies is Transfer Express, however we do offer a more in depth vendor course on how to work with the best for less. You can find more information about that here: www.tshirtriches.com/screen-print-transfers/ Thanks, Judy
Ain't no way you are going to get 8 designs on one sheet .. that would only be all small 4x4 left chest size prints .. most all back prints are at least 12x12 size that's only on e image on one piece of paper ..
Hi Voldy Mort- We recommend screen printed transfers. We do not recommend printing from a printer just for the sake of quality. You want to be in business selling products that will allow people to buy from you over and over again; as well as refer others to you. Sadly, printing from a printer will not allow you to do so. Once you have your designs created; you can send the digital files of the designs to transfer companies. They can take your design and screen printed directly onto the special release paper. There are no printers involved in this process. All the designs are printed by screen printing equipment. Once the designs have been screen printed onto the special release paper instead of directly on shirts. They'll send you the transfers; which you'll press directly onto the shirts using the heat press machine you've purchased.
Hi Trevor! We get a lot of inquiries as to what transfer vendors are the best. We personally use Transfer Express frequently, but we have a great training module on how to get the best prices and who to get the best transfers from! Please visit www.tshirtriches.com/screen-print-transfers/ for more information.
Thanks for posting...Did you make the shirt your wearing. if not do you know how was it made traditional screen-print, cmyk or digital transfer. Thanks

No, you would need to completely have the design created as you would like to see it on a tee before you send it to them. Most have a section on their website where you can upload your file and order your transfer. For example, on Transfer Express's website, you would go to "send us your artwork".

Hi Voldy Mort-

When you order from the vendor do they put the designs on the sheets?
Hi Vernon,
Yes, the screen printer will screen print your designs onto special heat release paper.
So if I have a font from a website can I send them the font via email?
No, you would need to completely have the design created as you would like to see it on a tee before you send it to them. Most have a section on their website where you can upload your file and order your transfer. For example, on Transfer Express's website, you would go to "send us your artwork".

could i print plastisol transfers using my epson 1430 sublimation ink?
Plastisol and sublimation ink are totally different
Wow.. that price is really expensive. I buy my transfers through Semo Imprints as they are half the price.
do they do gang printing?
Yes, they print 'gang sheets' for no extra fee.
can you recommend a plastisol transfers paper?
SEMO Imprints
Oh ya? Where does Semo offer prints that big?? I use Semo to, but not for ganging regular designs. Semo's biggest sheet for hot splits is 13x14.5"
