Boreth the Bredli: Past & Present

- Welcome to Serpentes Sunday for May 15, 2022. This week I am featuring my Morelia bredli Boreth who has been with me for 3 years. I found some old footage of him from about a week after he arrived and that I had never used. I am using it this week along with footage taken tonight so you will be able to see Boreth form 3 years ago and from today!
You also get to see how our second Super Dwarf Reticulated Python, Ryder Azadi, is getting along. He is doing well and escaped today!
Boreth is from Ralph Polinksi of Midwest Serpentarium and hatched on 7 July 2017.
Ryder is from Garrett Hartle of @ReachOutReptiles and hatched on 13 September 2021.

Boreth has such a personality! I just ❤️him. Sorry to hear about the drought and wildfires; here in San Diego (and LA as well), wildfire season is an annual occurrence, probably since the very first very bad one in 2003 when I almost had to evacuate. Hope it’s not a yearly occurrence out there in Colorado. Take care…
The drought here has been ongoing for the last several years and getting worse. This year we didn’t even get any winter moisture to speak of, a snowless winter basically.
One of my worst fears is some sort of natural disaster like a fire, and having to get all my critters out the door and in the truck in a few minutes. Beautiful creatures.

I really enjoy your videos, and as a new snake owner (with a 4 month old Bredli) I'm starting to incorporate some of your techniques from the very start. But if I may make one small suggestion, it might be an idea to get a Lavalier (Lav) mic or something to use when making your videos as you are often very hard to hear. I will turn up the volume quite high to be able to hear you, but then if you have any voice overs it almost blows out my speakers. But it's just a suggestion. I look forward to the next video
Thank you! Part of this video was filmed 3 years ago so the sound was very different from the present day footage. At this time the business can’t support itself so purchasing equipment isn’t possible. I would love to have a facility with a recording studio but it’s very unlikely!
