Really enjoyed your video. I have an exact same worm drive skilsaw and was considering buying a wet saw. Not going to anymore. By the way, I heard your husbands comments just fine, and picked up on the back cut tip. Nice to see an attractive couple sharing their home project. Ignore the hurtful comments, I’ll fix the sandwiches.
I guess the worm drives motor is far enough back that wont shock? Ive done that same task but was cutting a concrete wall and it started shocking me. You need to make sure your cord has a GFCI (Ground Fault Interrupter) in between saw and cord or cord and wall socket. 4real. If you have lineman gloves I would wear them.
Worm drive saw is very strong, much stronger than regular circular saw. If it kicks back particular with wood it can get you. Worm drive isnt for begginers, really the regular saw is dangerous too. not so much with a diamond blade. Just saying, save money good, fingers and toes or thigh worth more than a few hundred dollars.
Watching your video was torture but I soldiered through it for its entertainment value. The pantomime hubby was a nice touch. The best part was showing us where your hose bibb is located; that is super important! For what it’s worth, the Skil worm drive is too slow for this kind of work especially with a 7” blade.
Man you really should have given him the microphone since hes the one actually giving instructions. I couldnt hear a single thing he said the entire video
Ohh the relief cut is a great idea! I just bought 3 slabs of engineered marble to redo my kitchen. Wish me luck!

It would be a good idea to plug the saw into a GFCI outlet.
What blade did you use?
That’s what I want to know. Just regular 7” diamond blade?
Nice video. Thanks for posting!
Was this intended to be serious?
What did he say?
I think showing the end, how to end the cut without cracking the end, would be the most important part to show.
Appreciate it. Really helpful

HORIZONATAL
More cutting less talking
You talk to much. You need to let the professional explain the process. Go make sandwiches for him instead.
