He actually sounds like how I imagined Connor would sound like Which somehow hurts me even more? I honestly think that he was the perfect choice for this role and I'm not saying that Mike Faist wasn't amazing, (because believe me, I love him and his portrayal of Connor a lot) I'm just saying that Alex is how I've always imagined Connor
hearing someone who has studied the character like this and understands his depths so well read connors parts out loud... it just hits really really different. really different. wow.
I finished the book a couple of days ago it was about 11pm and I was in the living room and my mum was watching tv I was balling my eyes out I mean it is an emotional ride connors emotion is so more rich in the book definitely recommend it
I woke up this morning thinking of the Broadway Jackbox streams and Alex Boniello's name a bunch. I have no idea why, except I do because I like the way it sounds. Anyway, so now I'm emotional. This comment isn't supposed to make sense.
Alex should have played Connor in the movie instead of Colton, he would have fit it on film better than Mike, but still is a closer performance to Mike than Colton
I composed mine on the way home one day... Of course, then instead of killing myself I came out as trans... Not exactly what I wrote a note for, but I enjoyed it a lot more. Turns out my life didn't suck, really... depression sucked, my medications sucked, and trying to pretend to be someone who I wasn't... that super sucked. everyone says it gets better... I was a little surprised when they turned out to be right.
He... he went to Evan for help. Goddamnit, my heart hurts.
Jcontardo I always believed he was reaching out to the one person he thought might understand. To have that confirmed is gutting.
I do think if there was no letter then they would have been best friends.
I'm pretty sure he was talking about Miguel
Nope, talking about Miguel.... (psst Connor was bisexual)
Uh that was Miguel actually. You should read the book, it makes a lot more sense
There's nothing I love more than SUFFERING at the hands of Alex Boniello

I am a big fan of Mike’s portrayal, so no one was more surprised than me when Alex’s version of Connor became my favorite.
Same! I absolutely love Alex as Connor! 🖤🖤
Same. Alex is my fav Connor
I just finished the book. It had so much more than just the story of the musical. It was probably the best book I have ever read
Same I read it at school... cried. A lot.
Mike did a great job but Alex would have been an amazing narrator for Connor's chapters in the audiobook
Lydia! At The Disco wait did mike narrate the audio book??
Book Connor is so much more detailed and I'm just in awe here
Oh my god it’s brilliant and funny and painful (also bless Alex Boniello sksksjskj)
hearing someone who has studied the character like this and understands his depths so well read connors parts out loud... it just hits really really different. really different. wow.
I really like the layers he brought to his performance as Connor, so good

Dont you just hate it when your parents say you can't buy the book just because it has depression and anxiety in it?
W-what kind of parents would say that?
same
