Sorry if this is off topic, but is there somewhere a list of Project Settings that if changed, they need to recompile shaders ? So people know what to tick before deep in project and have to recompile 25 000 shaders ? I know about Virtual texture and Planar reflection. Thanks
Great question, I personally don't know if something like that exists, I am gonna say no. That being said, if you reduce the scalability of the engine (to low or medium) the compiling of the shaders takes much less.
lol man i swear 89% of the ue4 "tutorials" be super entry level stuff.... you made a long video that you could have done in 3.... dont know if u did it for youtube reasons or just long winded... work on showing good stuff in a timely fashion
Something being entry level is very subjective. I find entry level to retopo high level meshes to use in Unreal, yet that could be really advance for someone who has never used the engine, is all about perspective, but thanks for the feedback

bro tip just turn off real time n shaders will load x3 faster
