Prakriti and Smita are currently the only youtubers I love dearly. They are so real. No airs about making it big in the TH-cam industry. You could be amazing at your art but it just comes down to nothing when you are not regarding the people who watch your chanel. Jovita George, Shweta Vijay are few of them who just can't take criticism. I did not want to name anyone here but it's really important that these people know how to respond to criticisms. I've had several ocassion where Ive observed the way they respond to others. Also, I'm sorry if y'all are their fans. I just said what I felt.
However, this girl is mind blowing. She is an amazing human being.

Your videos are just to the point and very well explained. Just love the way you emphasize on using very minimal amount of products and not layering your face with a lot of it .
Can you do a video on how to get the right shade of foundation especially when you are ordering it online . I guess it has something to do with undertones and the colour of your veins right?

Love your videos as usual, but i genuinely felt that the "deeper" shades did not consider the darker skin tones of Indian people. Not surprised though, this is expected from Lakme, even the darkest shades end up being light for dark girls lol.
Exactly. For being an Indian brand, their shade range is a joke. Not surprised though. 2022 and not much has changed.
@@supposedlyhuman So true. I have used much cheaper brands like insight and mars and omg their shade ranges are GODLY. Lakme is a joke xD I'm sure she only made this video cz she was sponsored, I'm ngl the foundation did look slightly ashy, but Prakriti was smart to match it to her chest!

Can you tell me which sunscreen would you recommend to avoid peeling off base makeup?
Love your videos Prakriti but these shades are not inclusive of Indian skin tones. The last category isn’t deep at all..it’s meant for people from medium to slightly dusky. What about the people who are dusky to dark ? This is one reason I hate Lakmé.. I love your content but a little disappointed with this video.
Hi, sorry to have disappointed you. I loved the undertone of all the shades but you are right, there should have been 3 more deeper shades. I will keep this in mind while signing up for any foundation collab next time. Thank you for your feedback. This won't happen again.

You are my shade but I just feel bad for so many of our sisters out there who are deeper than our shades and struggle to find their shades in Indian brands itself so these brands should understand that they need to do better. How long do I have to wait before applying foundation before sunscreen? The sunscreen is still pilling for me. I use minimalist niacinamide as moisturizer and then use aqualogica sunscreen.
