We make the GR 52 the Grande Traversée du Mercantour, just a little part of it to climb the Roc D'Orméa Mountain in the South Alps. It is on the France-Italian Border. The views on Menton, Castelar, Monaco, Cap-Martin, and on the Italian side of The Valley of Roja River are fantastic. We also visited the abandoned in 1430 the old village of Castellar, which is a historical monument of France.
