Welcome to Part Two of our September/October 2022 ocean journey, A Mediterranean Odyssey, aboard the Viking Sea.
This time, our trip takes us from Barcelona, Spain, to the heart of Tuscany, Italy.
In Part Two, we will visit Rome, Italy, Naples, Italy (Pompeii), Cruise the Strait of Messina, and Corfu (Kerkyra, Greece.

Yes it was a Viking excursion….It was called “Highlights of Rome and the Colosseum.” It was a paid excursion :-)

Civittavecchia - “Ci”in Italian is pronounced “chi” like in chicken. The “che” is pronounced hard, like a “k”.
