My relationship with my parents isn't the right thing to do, but they're not bad people. It's just that my parents are in a different category and I'm a different category I love them but don't want to live for me. THEY DON'T WANT TO MAKE A DECISION FOR ME. It's just platonic what I feel for rock bands, but it's also the music that pulled me out of my depression. I love all bands, and there's always a band whose songs describe my spiritual world at the time.
