    Awesome video as always. But honestly that side camera doesn't add anything, older videos with only the main camera were better.

    Tucson is a good honest SUV. In your opinion, is it on par with its European competitors? Finally, did you get any real-life consumption figures?

    11.2 l/100km fuel consumption from a mild hybrid??? That's probably one of the very few cars ever that fare even worse than my R50 CVT Mini in that department.

    • @sic22l
      @sic22l 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mild hybrid doesn't change consumption much and this engine (1,6T from Kia/Hyundai) is very thirsty in every car it's put in.

    Reupload to ja przepisuję komentarz ;) 11,2l to chyba najwyższe spalanie na kanale (w aucie nie-dostawczym), Hyundai się nie popisał montując starego opoja 1,6 turbo zamiast nowego silnika 1,5T.

    It is a nice car but fuel consumption is just ridiculous 12 l/100 km!? Every manufacturer seek to lower fuel consumption, some gasoline cars have around 5 or 6 l/100 km this one have double. Something went wrong in Hyundai but nevertheless video review is superb!

    • @sic22l
      @sic22l 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      1.6 turbo from Hyundai/KIA is a very thirsty engine, it uses a lot of fuel in basically every car. Sadly they decided to use it in the newest Tucson.

    • @CristianP
      @CristianP 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Turbo engine on a big crossover in city, what you expect ?
      7-8L on a 25.000 euro car?
      Pay 35.000 euro and choose a Toyota Rav4 hibrid

    • @sic22l
      @sic22l 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CristianP It uses the same amount of fuel on the highway. Tiguan/Karoq/3008 with similar engines are using 2-3l less.

    If you buy a Hyundai (especially the Tucson and Santa Fe) be prepared to spend minimum of $175-$500 every month on BS problems you will never experience in a quality car like an Honda. Every other month you will have to replace 1-4 0f 6 to 8 catalytic converters that go out for no reason like clock work one after the other. Your gas line will need replacing, then your gas tank that rotted from the inside for no apparent reason. Your check engine light will be on more than it is off. You'll also notice when you hit a bump your car will wobble when the front wheels leave the ground, your passengers will also notice this and ask you if the car is "safe to drive that way"?. When you finally replace head gasket, then the entire engine and decide you've had enough, and sell it for next to nothing, you'll buy yourself an Acura and realize that it never needs maintenance, that it isn't normal to be without your car every other month because it's in the shop again, and you'll swear like I did to NEVER buy another Hyundai again!!!

    New Tucson looks too futuristic. Big screen behind steering wheel and on central console makes interior a bit empty and cold and somehow dead. Previous generation was great, generally exterior design seemed awesome, but that new is awful :/

      I think this is the best looking car Hyunai has ever made. Except for maybe the Elantra 2021-2022 sedan they get in US and Korea. This new design language finally gives Hyundai a fresh image. They were always kind of bland cars. The interior looks really nice with less fussy shapes, less of the previously old-school 2008 dashboard design with the stuck on tablet. In all areas this car is a huge step forward for the brand.
