    Thank you. Very informative. As an MH patient I found this very helpful. I had 2 violent episodes in the early '80's before I found out why I had those episodes. I now wear a medical alert chain around my neck. I'm preparing for surgery later this year, 2023.

    I am MH risk. Diagnosed in 1987 as a kid. Should i not take muscle relaxers? Also i was given medicine for add but was afraid to take it as i was not sure it would make a side effect bc it is a stimulant. Any idea?

      The best is to talk to your healthcare provider. Also the muscle relaxants mentioned here is strictly used by anesthesiologist. It not a take home drug. Pls ensure to inform your GP about your health history so as to guide them better.

    I think dantrolene is no longer being used for MH
