Thank you so much. Knowing that we have entertained someone and made someones day has really put a smile on out faces. The rest of the world: Star, you can't just head off on your own. We need to wait for the paperwork. Star, halfway across the ocean to Japan: Waiting around isn't the American way I can't believe we get to see some of this animated. Really feels like yesterday that this was in the manga. Anyway, onto the episode. All Might has been pretty down on himself ever since he retired because he feels useless if he can't help people. Like how Izuku feels. "Don't be the useless Deku who can't save anyone". Both All Might and Izuku have been limiting their importance to their quirks. They think that they're not worth anything without them. But Iida reminded Izuku that he is worth something. Bakugo reminded him that he's always been something. And Ochako reminded the public that he's just a kid. Even if he is a hero. Stain has been watching All Might and Izuku for a while. Obviously he knows that it's All Might. But he gives him a reminder. All Might was a hero because of his spirit. Because of his conviction. People saw his smile and became reassured that everything was okay. It wasn't because of his power that All Might was an amazing hero. It was because of the ideals that he passed on to everyone else. Those embers that All Might left behind carried on to the new generation and creates a path forward. Like One For All. Stain made All Might see his purpose and worth. He gave him a reason to keep going and available information on Shigaraki and All For One. How ironic. The guy called the Hero Killer might've just helped save hero society. Little side note, I love how Bakugo is trying to call Izuku by Izuku's name and Izuku reassures him that it's okay if he calls him Deku. It's like All Might said. Even if Bakugo thinks he has something to atone for, Izuku has never felt that way. Onto Star and Stripe. I can't go into much detail because we haven't seen much. All I'll say is that the hype I felt seeing her is unimaginable. Have fun thinking about what her quirk could be. The final thing I'll talk about is Tomura. We thought we had about two months left. Then some time passed and we thought we had a little over a month. But in actuality, we have about three days until the body is complete. We also got a glimpse of his new outfit. A formal suit and what looks to be a tattered cape. It's a mix of both Tomura and All For One. The suit is obviously All For One. But the cape is letting the audience know that no matter how much AFO tries to suppress him, Tomura is still fighting against him. He's still in there. Over a month later. Which makes sense. Tomura fought against Gigantomachia for about two months and didn't give up either. Our boy isn't giving up his body without a fight. I still think AFO trying to take over the body of the boy who literally revived himself out of pure hatred was not a very bright move. But only time will tell. Onto the 7th season. Plus Ultra.
We have made it. We have caught up. This is where the show is going to leave us in suspense for a WHILE. We know season 7 is already in development and NO ONE can wait. MHA is in its peak. And I just gotta say season 6 truly was a wild ride and I can’t believe that they tried this hard. I am still aghast at how good it is and how it lives up to its hype 100%. I just can’t believe this show. I’m really hoping people let this be a proper top tier anime and not an underrated gem. Because it deserves respect. But before I go any further, let’s do the last MHA analysis for the time being. Stain has arrived. And let’s clear any confusion. Stain walked up to this man knowing he was All-Might. He’s been stalking him since Izuku went proper rogue at least. But likely has been seeing them since he broke out. To say this man is the strangest motivational speaker I’ve EVER seen is an understatement. The faking Stain was screaming about was All-Might lives but his spirit has deflated him more than his body ever did. And there’s some truth to that. All-Might in the season 5 finale made the decision to keep living as if it wasn’t a guaranteed conclusion he was going to get there. So what if you’re quirkless? You were a hero BEFORE the symbol. BEFORE the quirk. BEFORE all of it. You worked yourself up to not just be a hero but essentially a GOD to the people. That being said just because you can’t physically be a hero doesn’t mean you can’t be an inspiration. And even then he’s asking him to put himself to the test. (Which is what Izuku asked of All-Might in season 1. Can I be a hero with no quirk?) Also the touch of the women he saved doing everything they can to keep his inspiration going is incredible. I like to believe that Toshinori Yagi will be spurred to action. But he will act in his own way to fight his own way. Will we be seeing a copy of OFA? No I don’t think so. Not when they keep signaling there being 2 sources of OFA. They brought up the vestige communication again and All-Might just admits, yeah I can still have communication with OFA. AND HE DOESN’T QUESTION IT. So either he’s clueless or KNOWS. (I’m REALLY hoping the former. That’s another thing to add to the list of things he should have told Izuku but didn’t.) But we will see. Thankfully the kids learned fast from Uraraka’s speech. They were kinda treating him like he was the inspirational god a bit when they chased him. They briefly forgot he was a mortal just the same. But that scene of forcing him to be washed was hilarious. That being said I wish there was ONE detail. He should have dark eyes still. Not empty eyes, but dark circles and maybe a BIT of the lost light he had at the beginning of the rogue arc. He hasn’t completely recovered and a month of nonstop fighting/training with not enough food or sleep doesn’t disappear overnight. We do have to talk about Bakugo. His apology and seeing Izuku as a person. A very sad detail that adds to Izuku’s LACK of forgiveness comes when Bakugo very noticeably stops himself from calling him Deku again but calls him Izuku. And Izuku sees right through it. And he says if it’s hard to say Izuku, then Deku is fine. That is WELCOMING him to call him worthless. Heck you can take it a step further because Izuku doesn’t treat it as lighthearted conversation. His tone is slightly more stern. It roughly means “If giving me as a person value in your head is such a struggle, don’t bother.” Which is TERRIBLE to think that. But once again, Bakugo’s apology just isn’t that much of a change to their relationship even if it’s huge for Bakugo development. Making friends with your bully is not an easy road. They will likely end as proper friends in the end of the story but that’s not an immediate fixer. Just the groundwork start. The bare minimum. If Bakugo takes the time to know Izuku Midoriya outside his ambition to be a hero, THAT is the road forward. I’ll note that because the rogue arc lasted a month, Izuku is VERY likely no longer at 45%. He’s doubled his power over a matter of weeks before. I predict he SHOULD be at 60-75% now. Which is INSANELY powerful, and with the larger stockpile, will keep him in realm with the much more body stabilized AFS. Mind stabilized? Not likely. They are LITERALLY gollum in there. But with a mere 3 days to prepare, this is going to be PRETTY rough in prep time for the kids and heroes. (They really made it complicated to understand the info Stain gave out by giving us multiple timelines. But I finally sorted it out. I thought it could be any of the 3 and they just had to prep for the soonest they’d come out.) Though it is really nice that All-Might and Izuku reconciled. But now it’s time for Izuku to find his own way to use his authority free of the mistakes All-Might made. And that’s not going to be easy to do. I’m starting to think the next symbol of peace isn’t Izuku but the entire class even if Izuku is OFA’s 9th wielder. These guys aren’t going to be doing another concert, but they are working to restore people’s faith by getting into the Endgame war. These guys are a true family unit. Kaminari and Jiro nonchalantly being adorable on the side sets it in. And you got Uraraka helping Izuku wake up from a night terror. (Which OH MY GOD that is already next level relationship communication.) THOSE two I’m really excited to see if they ever fight side by side. More than Todoroki or Bakugo. Give me an Izuku and Uraraka team up. And then we have SaS. Quietly flexing standing still at around Mach 10 on a super high speed jet. (So she’s likely much faster in motion.) Breaking a TON of American flag laws but it’s the one seemingly the entire country has decided is unnecessary. (The American flag can’t be printed on clothes.) What a rebel SHE is. I’m REALLY looking forward to seeing her in action. I want to say more, but I have to wait. A WHILE. But I’m always happy to see someone flip off their country’s process system to save lives. So at the very least she’s DEFINITELY not government sponsored and more just VERY VERY AMERICAN. Like hilariously so. Rivaling All-Might’s American level. (That man is more than I am and he’s Japanese. THAT’S how American he is.) Season 7 is going to be fantastic. Season 6 really gave me new found appreciation for season 5 with it being such a successful payoff to ALL the buildup. I just gotta say I’ve truly enjoyed writing for you, and I’ll without question pop up again in season 7. And maybe if you watch another show of my expertise, I’ll do that too. (FMA and Avatar are recommendations one day.) Thanks a lot for giving my analysis so much thought. This was just so much fun.

Totally right. Midoriya is that aspirational standard. It's been a pleasure re-watching MHA with you two. You all are some of my favorite reactors. p.s., Season 6 is the best season, no doubt. Non-stop action, tension, suspense, and/or tearjerker moments with a few very brief but much needed moments to breath. The show rewarded its fans with meaningful roles, returns (MIRIOOOOOOO), and redemptions (Bakugo) for a lot of its side characters. The best BGM in all of anime "You Say Run" made its triumphant return when we needed it most. Absolutely cannot wait for Season 7. Star is such a badass and I feel like there are going to be more meaningful surprises in what may be the last season of MHA (unless they split it into two like Attack on Titan) 😭
Well the fandum is in panic because of the movie that they announced and thats because what they do is the studio divid itself production team is split in half one works on the movie the other works on the series and thats problematic because of there execution of this in the past. Know if you were to look at all the seasons up until the current you will see that some seasons is animated better than the others and with the movies in mind it linds up you'll see a pattern of this...😅

Finally caught up after binging through all of your MHA reactions 😄There are a couple of hub ups in your playlist. A few videos that shouldn't be there, the Crunchytroll should be after Episode 122 and once or twice the episodes were in a wrong order (like 102). Now that this is done: It was a lot of fun to see your journey through this show. How characters turned your first impression around and you ended up liking all of them, even feeling empathy for the villains. It's what MHA really excels at. Thank you for your reactions.
i’m upset that mineta has genuinely funny moments like the “do i look cool?” part, because for so long he was just a pervy asshole. he had the potential to be funny this whole time and yet he wasn’t😔
We can appreciate it is not everyones taste but we did like Pervy Mineta. We try not to take things too seriously and sure IRL this is problematic behavior but in a show we can appreciate the comedy of the perviness.
For sure a loaded question. I cant speak for Emily. I will have to ask her. I have an idea of what she would say but im not 100%, I think she would say Invincible, partly because it was so lifechanging for her and was her way into these shows. However, for me, I would have to say MHA, if for nothing else than the face we got to spend 6 seasons with these kids. I may feel differently once we get a few seasons into Invincible but for now it would be MHA. How about you?
@@KalElCanFly MHA has the benefit of being a longer show (at least for right now) so naturally we’ve had more exposure to it’s characters, although the fact that MHA manages to keep my investment of the characters consistent for over 130 episodes is an achievement for the writers. There’s definitely an opportunity for Invincible to surpass MHA’s character writing, as the base plot line sets up an intriguing relationship between Nolan and his son Mark/his family. Of course, the show could also fumble, although we hope that’s not the case. That being said, in my personal opinion while Invincible could surpass MHA, I don’t think it could even attempt to dethrone Attack on Titan, but that’s just my opinion.
