TSA rolling out gender-neutral screening in January | Morning in America

Earlier this year, the Transportation Security Administration announced new standards for screening transgender, nonbinary and gender-nonconforming airline passengers at TSA checkpoints. TSA received a little more than $18 million in funding to complete the testing, development and deployment of algorithm updates to its systems nationwide. This new technology will start being used in January.
