Hello, So I got on my security cameras. A car drives by and kills the side mirror on a parked car. The mirror shatters with pieces on the road. The bad driver stops, gets out, looks around, gets back in her car, and drives away. Can I get paid for this ? Thanks

Plus the trucker had his turn signal to go left. The trucker even warned him he was taking a wide turn and the camera still trying to blame the trucker.

Both drivers are idiots. For those who don't know how wide turns work. The truck turns wide. the trailer does not. The trailer should track along the right side curb, close enough so that not even a bike or a motorcycle can get between the trailer and the curb. The driver of the truck should lose his CDL for making such insanely wide poorly executed wide turn.

True. Even if passing / overtaking on the right lane is widely accepted across the US (as opposed to other countries), you should still be extra cautious when trying to do so.

If a Maine state trooper was in that cut through he'd be looking at Reckless driving, speeding 20+ over, and traveling in a non designated travel lane tickets with a mandatory court appearance.

Trucks can not make close turns like that so they must use the left lane and rely on other drivers to see their signal and give them space.

My brother drives trucks - with extra long trailers and I sent him that video lol. You should’ve heard what names he called the cammer 😅. He has to deal with it daily - idiots who don’t understand trucks and how they have to swing wide because of different factors (length of trailer & truck combined, wheel axil spread, intersection layout, cars parked on the street of intersections, ect). He’s has to deliver heavy equipment to tight areas and it sucks

Some thing from this video happens to me on the road once every 4-5 months. I’m in an urban/suburban area and I’m a careful driver like a nerd and haven’t got hit yet. But I watch this channel so I can know what to look out for. People literally push the pedal and turn the wheel without a thought in their mind lol. @@TsugaC My thinking exactly. I'm not from the US, but would assume that the yellow traffic light is handled similarly everywhere around the globe. Those 1-2s extra will cost you nothing, but save you a lot - particularly as insurance will most likely give you partial (if not even the major) fault.

I have been watching these dashcam lessons videos for the past few months. If ever there was an argument for self-driving cars, these videos are it. So many distracted, too aggressive, too defensive, or otherwise bad drivers everywhere.
No argument necessary; simply show someone the statistics. Self driving cars have a few accidents, no fatalities that I'm aware of. Humans have thousands of wrecks and hundreds of fatalities every day.
Need more policing and actual justice.
There's more people than the roads can handle.
Less police.
No justice in courts, even less so with insurance companies (even though you're "required" to pay them thieves)
So the roads have become a vigilante state of hot tempers, unmet expectations and lawlessness.

#10 - Maybe you didn't see that bright red LED RH turn signal flashing. Anybody with any experience driving knows that vehicles with long wheelbases (box trucks, tractor-trailer rigs, stretch limos, etc.) need more room to turn, particularly RH turns. If that truck had stayed in the right turn/through traffic lane, he would have taken out that utility pole and traffic light pole on the near right corner.

Driver of clip 10 is dumb. Truck had turn signal on, he has to do a wide turn.
#10 those big trucks need to make a wide turn to the right, or they wouldn't get around it, you could see his blinker going on the right, so you could know he was turning to the right.

I'm an idiot as I typically look at their signals and assume that he would need plenty of space to make a right turn with such a long trailer.

the truck driver in the left lane to turn right wasn't the idiot. The driver thinking he could turn right, knowing the blinker was on for the truck and that they need a wide turn radius is the idiot.

@@BillNyeX69 I guess the truck should just sit there and wait for the traffic on the right to clear. They may impede traffic behind them and cause road rage but I guess the cammer would have no problem waiting even though it's there GREEN.

5:03 it’s yellow, not red. Next time move into the intersection with your wheels facing forward, wait until the light is red and oncoming traffic has STOPPED then make your turn. It’s legal to complete your turn if the light turns red and you’re still in the intersection. 100% your fault. Other cars don’t need to stop at a yellow light, it is only a warning that the light will turn red in a few seconds. NEVER EVER assume that other drivers are going to do what you think they would do and always assume everyone else is the worst driver and they are out to get YOU specifically. If you would stop at the yellow assume all others will not, because you won’t ever know what others are going to do,and wait.
