This is my second favorite on the OST, just below Mint Eye. It's so poignant. Perfectly highlights the tragedy of their ill-fated, toxic 'love'. They were the worst possible thing for each other. They deserved better.
I appreciate you saying "they". I personally love Rika, but she needed mental help especially with her past. V needed to set boundaries to how far he'd go for his love.
They really did deserve better. V basically made Rika think it was okay to do what she wants, which is basically hurting people, and Rika just did a lot of bad things. Rika and V are amazing characters but of course they have flaws. They both did very bad things and I don't justify it, but they deserve happy endings :3 I think people need to stop looking past what Rika's been through. Yes, I understand she did bad things, I do not justify it at all, but she went through a lot of shit and all that. It's alright to hate to hate her, but I think it's good to understand what she's been through, and V as well. They both struggled a lot and deserve happiness ;-;

They said in v's route when it was a flashback, that they love each other at that moment, if in the future they think of their past love, then it's not love anymore. So they really did love each other at first
rika truly felt at home with him at the start of their relationship, when he opened himself up to her. she found her light. but both sides made such terrible decisions, each individual thinking they're right... and they were obsessed with each other, an addiction that they thought was love at the time.. they truly would have been perfect for each other, but at the same time, they were unhealthy, and too hurt.
That is so true. Many people hate Rika saying that she was toxic but that is only half true. They both didn't made good decision about their relationship and I understand why people hate her I do too for what she did but at the same time I love her I just want to hug her and tell her that I m here for you. V also had the wrong definition of love and that's why their relationship ended up being toxic. I just want to say that u can't justify rika's action by her mental illness but at the same time u can't fully blame her for her actions.

They aren't perfect for each other, they weren't, that's what the point is. They were too unstable even before meeting one another, and they tried to find comfort in each other, trying to fill the void in each of their hearts when it didn't work like that. They weren't perfect for each other, they were imperfect, and together they did much more damage to one another than they did good. The best for that relationship was to distance themselves, they were not meant to be together, sadly as it is. Because they were inexpert and thought they loved each other when it was an obsession, they clung into each other to find solace, and we all know how that ended up. My point is: Rika and V were not perfect for each other at all, it reflects in the way their relationship worked at first, because they didn't even know each other too well, and when they knew each other more closely, they didn't fit, but tried to force it. Because rika desired to be loved, and V wanted to give love, when in reality, it wasn't what neither of them needed, at least not in the way they gave each other those things. They 'knew' each other closely but, they didn't understand each other, at least not in the level that as a relationship that is 'that' developed should be. They didn't truly comprehend one another, but pretended too, tried to, they accepted the comfort the relationship bought them both, but it wasn't what they needed. It was a selfish relationship. So no, I think Rika and V were better of separated.

The people who created the game and helped create the music deserve the world. The game means so much to me, I hold it very near and dear to my heart, there is so much I have to discover about these characters that I love. It frightens me to think that I might never finish the story.
Mystic Messenger has some of the best soundtracks. I played it for the first time in 2017 and fell in love with it, and now I just finished V's after ending today in 2021. One good thing about quarantine.
I thought this was just a simple otome game (I don't even really like otomes because they are not my fav genre of videogames)... well, I was wrong. This is is much more. The dark and story behind it, the multiple emotions this game gave me... I ended up loving every single character (exceper for echo girl and Sarah lol). Yes, I love Rika too. I hate what she did, but yet... I believe that she's a super well written character. Also, I just wish we could help her. Maybe she wouldn't act anymore as a bad person. I feel like, deep inside, she has a good heart. Too bad, people abused her and she ended up being like this...

Ayano Aishi. Same here I never really liked Otome games but Mystic Messenger changed my whole entire view. I just got it because I needed someone to talk to and decided it would be best to talk to people who “aren’t real” Now I play it everyday, it’s been 3 years and I still love it. The stories are interesting, happy, and heartbreaking
I literally feel the same way about Rika. I mean everyone in the RFA loves her for a reason. I feel deep down she has such a good heart, it's a shame she went down the wrong route. I want a Rika route cause I wanna help her too T_T

Honestly, it's gives me a terrible but quiet (as if drowned) heart ache. Rika and V's relationship was just like a theater tragedy : meant to end in a terrible way. They tried to find their answers into each other rather than in themselves which made them ignore each other's pains and tear each other apart. Rika deserves a route just like V did. Every character of mystic messenger is trying to find their balance and for some it's more difficult than for others but there is one thing that remains true : MC is perfectly balanced and she can show them the way, hold their hands while they're looking for their answers. And Rika, as much as the others (and maybe even more) needs her help.

She was the only one who showed V 'unconditional love' like the sun, but V rejected her love until it was far too late; projecting it to Rika, who never experienced love which tragically spiraled down into this abusive, victim-blaming, obsessive relationship. Ugh i love V ok sorry about that I just liked how the title of the song is Sun's love while theirs violin playing lol
Whenever I play a route in Another Story, I keep on choosing to play Saeran/Ray's cuz if we pick V's then we'll end up leaving (I'll just call him) Saeran but listening to MM's soundtracks makes me want to play V's route again

The first time i heard this OST, i knew it would be one of my favorites of Mystic Messenger. And i was mad i had to see Rika bothering V again while listening to this for the first time lol V's route is the saddest for me (besides Saeran, i played all the other routes). V is my fav character (with Seven), so i felt so bad for him.
at first i hated the relationship that V and rika have and im glad that they end it in V's route. But when this ost is playing and the story is getting more intense...i started to question myself. They are a beautiful couple indeed but why they ended up like that?😭😭. Im getting emotional😅
I understand that you're saying that, bc I also used to hate her because of what she did to the twins and because of how Yoosung always compared me to her, but now I know that she just wanted to be in peace because of how she was treated in her past, she probably never tried to harm anyone until she just gave up and started acting that way, or because it was the mental desease she had too. I might not like her much, but I wish she had a happier ending in some of the other characters endings.
you should give rika a chance! you’d get to understand her soon, if you play v’s route or her behind story- that is. if it still didn’t work, then ok! but don’t hate her without much context. and try to perceive things in different angles before judging. you’ll never know, you might want to change your view of her.

The first time i heard this OST, i knew it would be one of my favorites of Mystic Messenger.
And i was mad i had to see Rika bothering V again while listening to this for the first time lol
V's route is the saddest for me (besides Saeran, i played all the other routes). V is my fav character (with Seven), so i felt so bad for him.
that 4 dislike tho probably they cant see the like button clearly because of the tears cover their eyes

at first i hated the relationship that V and rika have and im glad that they end it in V's route. But when this ost is playing and the story is getting more intense...i started to question myself. They are a beautiful couple indeed but why they ended up like that?😭😭. Im getting emotional😅

I understand that you're saying that, bc I also used to hate her because of what she did to the twins and because of how Yoosung always compared me to her, but now I know that she just wanted to be in peace because of how she was treated in her past, she probably never tried to harm anyone until she just gave up and started acting that way, or because it was the mental desease she had too. I might not like her much, but I wish she had a happier ending in some of the other characters endings.
I played v’s route, I played saeran’s route. I hate rika with every cell in my body.
you should give rika a chance! you’d get to understand her soon, if you play v’s route or her behind story- that is. if it still didn’t work, then ok! but don’t hate her without much context. and try to perceive things in different angles before judging. you’ll never know, you might want to change your view of her.
