Just sitting by the river, eating a sammich...and listening to the sounds of nature is worth the time & effort! The gold is just a bonus! Great job Gary!
It’s awesome to see you working those old river benches .. Also Nobody believes me when I tell me the gold doesn’t move every winter Only during large floods It definitely explains why all the good ground is disappearing … Those were some nice smaller chunks Gary ✨⛏️ Thanks again for more great lessons on high river water good and river benches
Good morning ! Hot weather prospecting 🥵 you did a lot of pans tracking that gold . Great job describing why and what you are doing. ( a lot of camera work too ) Thank you .
Another top day at the river Gary . And how about going easy on us out there that are over the moon with 0.56 of a gram for the day . lolWe don't all live in Californy you know . I would say there is a lot more gold on that hillside yet to be found . Good luck with it 👍🤞Cheers Ned . ✌
Hi Gary always enjoy your show all wayslearn something new, I was fortunate found a lot gold in earlier years with mine labs detectors, but places are over run with construction nowadays, hope to meet you some day.
Good morning Gary! I thought you had a built in detector but now I know have underground imaging radar! PS....we have a very different definition on "tiny" gold🍻
nice that works for me ,sometimes you need to investigate what is going on .thank you for sharing the adventure and information and experiences on finding the gold.
.5 is nothing to sneeze at, about $55 aussie dollars, your definitely a master of getting on the colour in obscure spots, spots I tend to check, with decent results, good on ya mate👍👍
Great Job Gary, learn ng so much from you Sir ! Lady Luck or maybe more the Great Father loves and Blesses you always with a little Shiny to go back home with you for us to see !
Gary, thanks sooo much, have learnt heaps from you, have watched almost all videos, I know what you will say “depends on where your detecting “ if you can’t afford the 2 big gun detectors you have, would you recommend the monster 1000 or what, as the next step down??? Am from Central Otago New Zealand, would be happy with your smallest flake 😂it’s all gold bearing land, alluvial and nuggets, would appreciate any advice on where to look? I go out and get fly specks 😂 not enough to weigh, chunky would be better 😂❤ thank you for lugging all the equipment around for us to watch you!!! Thank you, hard work.
In the areas I go, I think the Gold bug 2 is a better detector than the Gold Monster. You have to take in concertation I have hundreds of hours on a Gold Bug and only a few on the Gold Monster.
Yep, New Jersey is having a real good gracious feeling blissful warm day even here on the center island of US HWY 22; and learning from seeing your instructional prospecting shows allows me to have a plan when finally i will arrive to the Yuba and Salmon River Claims when only YAHUAH knows when that forthcoming day will be for me sometime after my property's vacant store "A" receives anew franchise occupant. Well till then you keep seeking and finding your Au rewards Mr. G. Honan. Your online student since 2017 and mining store customer, Jim.
Gotta admit, it’s nice to hear the intro music I’m accustomed to hearing. Please keep it forever… we’re all used to the great video we’re going to see when we hear it.
I'm headed through the Sierras next week with a new detector. I've spent a few summers panning in Oregon. Whenever I think I've found a good stretch of river on maps in CA, it ends up being lined with private property. Any hints on roads that lead to public lands with good potential?
@@TwoToes Thanks Gary for the advice. I will stick to the cheaper version 😁 Have you heard anyone have R.O.P.E. doing prospecting before? Thanks again for your videos and wisdom!
Anyone ever watch that one of Gary ocean fishing…??? Same as the detector, he seems to know what he caught before he even reels it in. Pretty cool skill and intuition.
Gary I’m pretty sure you could find gold in the Sahara desert lol great job again finding decent gold with the river so high you managed to avoid the skunk. I see you had a marines hat on did you serve in the armed forces? Thanks for sharing see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
@@TwoToes that would do it lol my dad and brother were navy but they wouldn’t take me as I was in to much trouble lol thanks your sons for their service for me 👍🏼👊🏼
Greetings, dear friend, how to find out the places where gold is found in the rivers and on the banks of the river .I have been searching in all the places of the river and on its banks that we have in northern Syria for a year now and I have not found anything. are there any scientific methods to find out the presence of gold without devices. Thank you, our excellent professor.
Talk to the prospectors in your area, see what they're using and how they like it. A detector that works great in the desert my not work very good on the river - different type of detecting.

Most full-face mask are expensive, and prospecting is rough on equipment, other than that if you have air they work great.

Did that big tree root system reveal anything?
I forgot to talk about that - not a speck of gold. All I can think of is they cleaned the bedrock when the tree was just starting.

How many rattlers did you run into...ornaway from?
I would say on the average 2 to 4 a year.
