      @@blockland30 the differences are significant, I don't know what science you follow but when considering the % of genetic differences between black and white, if used to analyze any other mamal like tigers or dogs, they would be concidered different sub-species of a main root specie. The conversation about race needs to receive a huge dose of realism and at the same time also be treated for hypersensitivity and political correctness. There is also a huge lack of contextualisation and accurate historical facts. To much is overlooked or "assumed". A good start about americas racial situation is Tomas Sowell. He has a ton of videos on YT. As a 96 year old black man who made himself into a highly recognized scolar, autor, teacher and much more. If you have never heard of him, look him up. He was dropping truth bombs in the 80s on TV. He very much always has a better and more rational explanation than the mainstream narative which he very often destroys. It's why he isn't as promoted as useless figure heads like Mulvanay

You Muslim Hoteps are so misguided, it's not even funny. This shit wasn't remotely accurate and it does a gross disservice to all those black people who work hard from childhood to become elite athletes. As a relative of Jimmy the Greek, I can say I was always proud and honored to call him my uncle. He was loving and generous to our family, church and his home town of Steubenville, Ohio. He was a pioneer and self made odds maker and definitely not a bigot. The NFL Today show was the pinnacle of his career and a testament to the school of hard knocks he went through to get there.
    An obscure local TV station barged into a local restaurant for a spontaneous interview and then sold it to the national networks. I can tell you that all the video clips you will find NEVER disclose the actual question he was asked. "Jimmy, why do you think the black athlete is superior ? " I think this question was a very hard one to answer. How would you answer that question ? I think he was just trying to do the best he could base on his background, education and state of mind a day before Martin Luther King day.

    He was right, we were selectively bred and it has resulted in abnormally muscular and large black individuals more often than most other races throughout the world and football was becoming a black dominated sport. It really bothers me we can not speak freely in a free country. The Greek was just being honest. The modern day racist rarely shares their true beliefs, but they act upon them daily. Those are the ones who need be canceled. It was an awful way to produce some of the world's finest physical specimen, but somehow this injustice has become an advantage for many black athletes. It is nothing to hide or be ashamed of. These traits work well with the women too. I can't complain lol. No greater feeling than having the last laugh.

    • @lukelandmesser9331
      @lukelandmesser9331 3 ปีที่แล้ว +14

      Hey pal! I spent a few years on the East side of Africa and watched the marathoners in Ethiopia and Kenya train first-hand. I've also seen a few documentaries on the topic of their dominance in long-distance running. First off, in Kenya, running distances is part of the culture in rural areas where automotive transportation is scarce. I didn't personally witness a lot of recreational running in Ethiopia despite the lack of transit. Most people in these parts just didn't travel often. The most important thing to note is the altitude. The athletes are training a mile-high with low oxygen, which is incredibly harder to do. When they compete at sea-level, their performance is god-like because of the preferred conditions. You could also argue that maybe they want it more because they stand more to gain by being a world-class athlete in their country than the typical North American. I think the individuals drive and the ideal training conditions are most likely why Kenya and Ethiopia have frequent success in marathons. We also all have genetic advantages given to us from our parents and beyond. Sometimes running just comes naturally to some while throwing events is easier for others. I hope this helps!

      West Africans do because running is a cultural thing integrated in their daily life. You know public transport is not developed enough and kids literally „run“ on a tough terrain to school. Just like in Jamaica. Plus the other factors just like health, experience and tradition added to the picture, they produce some fine athletes.
      If you took a child with a different background and put him in the same socio-cultural environment, than I am sure the chances are equally good that he will become an exceptional athlete too.

And I said, "I'm sorry, Jimmy, but you're not Greek. And under New York State gambling laws it's forbidden." And he said, "I know, Joe, but my parents always wanted me to be called The Greek. You think you could arrange a lunch meeting with Jake?" I said, "Sure, but if he knows what it's for he won't show." And Jimmy said, "Try, Joe. It would mean a lot to me." And so, after some persuading, Jake the Greek gave over his name to Jimmy.

      Was Superbowl 3 fixed at the top with Shula, Morall, and the field goal kicker Michaels, and did the Colts owner bet over a million on his own team to lose? Looking back on this the owners all made billions on the merger and Don Shula a year later ends up in Miami and was given 10% of the Dolphins for losing championships. I cant think of any other head coach who was given a % ownership in a franchise for just showing up not even Lombardi when he went to the Redskins.

    Is not an accurate statement? Did slave owners not breed their slaves. Now we are “free” to choose. My wife is half Mexican I’m a WMA (but I’ve got roots in South America , Africa, Spain, as well as Northwest Europe ). I’m 5’11 my wife 5’7. More than likely my son will be shorter than me. But anything’s possible.

    • @maestroofamore8948
