Thanks for posting this interview. LOVE watching and listening to RDA. (No new information actually in his answers - since having watched most of all of the RDA interviews on TH-cam). But it's fun JUST to hear him and see him at these events....so thanks again whoever filmed this and whoever posted it.
I'm the girl at 25:00 that asked about his motorcycle adventure. I thought it was cool that he said no one ever asked him that. I was pretty fascinated by it!

I loved MacGyver, my mom, brother and I would watch religiously every Monday night, we looked forward to it. Always liked the Murdoc episodes especially. So many years ago, I'm an old man now. I feel sorry for Richard it seems he is suffering from some kind of disease, he's restless during all interviews, he sweats a lot, and forgets a lot of stuff, I feel really bad you can tell he is suffering in some sort of way. That won't stop him from being one of my childhood hero's.
He had issues with medication, but I hear he's overcome them now

But I'm Sorry that he could not sick and do striate answers and he is trying to be funny when he has so many fans that has truly great respect for him and it seems that he should give that respect back to them. He is kind of jerk...especially with that kid.
why is he so fidgety now? I mean it's almost like he's on meth for God sakes. He's never been like that.. last few times seeing him over the past couple of yrs I've picked up on the Lil quirks he has.
probably has to do with his back. he's had a lot of injuries during macgyver and is now ailing him. his back is one of them
+Oliver James I've seen a lot of everything he's done. I've also been a paramedic as well as law enforcement and I've seen the subtle jerks and tweeks that people on meth do. now I'm not saying he's on method AT ALL. I'm simply saying he has the movements now as a person On meth.
I know your post is 5 years ago, but I still want to reply either way because these are serious assumptions you are making, like Oliver said it's probably because of his back, I've seen several of his panels and in one of them where he mostly stand and move around and occasionally sit and stand again he said he does that because of his back injury that he got during shooting MacGyver, also some of his body gestures in the video here looks to me more like a sign of being shy out of the situation.
Also logically, someone who states he doesn't drink now and considering he left Hollywood in order to be able to spent more time with his daughter, I doubt he's the sort of person that uses drugs, but who knows the truth, obviously there's always a possibility that you're right but I doubt it when there's a perfectly good explanation to him being that fidgety.
