They are trying to reach those that listen to metal core music that only hear songs in that genre that are full of violence, hate etc. and using the same type of music send out a positive message that there is hope and his name is Jesus. That we should all care about others and be encouraging rather than discouraging. Building others up instead of tearing them down. I think it is refreshing that they can take a genre of music that is know for it's negativity and promote positive messages.
For Today toured with Motionless in White and New Years Day, this happens a lot. As a christian band they would be wasting their message if they only toured with Christian bands. Christians don't need to hear about Christianity as much as other people outside of the church. (For the most part at least)
They very much are, and they have and will tour with many bands. Their sound is sick so it appeals to everyone either way. As long as a good Christian band doesn't shove the Christian part down people's throat, they can make a mark on anyone

Are they a Christian band because in Basic hate it said "you cast your stones in my fathers name" but they are touring with Lorna shore i don't get it

Chris what good does it do if you preach to only Christians? It’s like preaching to someone who already believes.
