It looks fun! Thank you for sharing. I just moved to Chesapeake, VA and the first thing I bought was a lifetime fishing permit for both Fresh and Salt. I cannot wait to learn this state in coming years...
Happy 4th of July. Gasoline has put a hurt on my fishing since I trailer a boat to the Great Lakes I have scaled back to local for now and watching you load the freezer up.
Those perch and crappie will tear your hands up if you catch enough of them. You might want to try some of those fishing gloves. I got a pair of Magellan brand from academy and love ‘em. My hands feel a lot better when I get home. Lol they kept your hand from sunburn , gills and fins.
You are right, it does cost to go fishing. Keep all the fish you want that is legal of course. There is a guy who fishing Sam Rayburn in Texas and he was keeping monster crappie and folks on social media were complaining about him keeping possibly spawning females. He lives in Houston so its costing him lots of gas for his vehicle, and his boat. Folks seem to think you can out fish a lake or river with live scope. It isn't possible. Where did you get your block of ice from.
Another great show you always educate folks. I liked the visit from Richard Gene but he just couldn’t get the foot tapping down pat. 😂 May I ask what your fish finder is that you watch while you are fishing on the front deck? It’s the one mounted to your console. Loving life and fishing deep where the biggens lie. 👍
It don't hurt a thing to keep some of those Bass, especially out of a bigger lake, need to "cull" the lake of some of those smaller bass so the other ones can get bigger. Some of them ol boy's will moan and groan about keeping Bass, they don't understand that you're doing them favor by taking some of them. Shoot back in the 70's my Daddy would take us to a couple of different reservoirs around KY here and we'd always using them plastic worms, the old creme worms or the Mann's jelly worms, either purple or black, thems the only two colors we'd use back then and catch the fire out of Bass, we had this little ol creek we'd go to too that was plum full of largemouths, when I was 12 years old I caught my biggest bass out of that little creek, a 6lb largemouth, on a black 7" Mann's jelly worm, soon as I casted it out and it hit the water that rascal hit it, haha, boy you talk about fun for a 12 year old boy, haha, hey and we took it home and ate it but that little ol creek was full of Bass, just about every hole you casted into you'd catch Bass. Boy, I miss those days, good thing we got memories, right? Anywho, you keep on a keeping on ol buddy and I'll keep watching, always do, I might not comment all the time but I am watching!

Welcome!! My friend to The Old Fisherman Loving Life Videos.
The cameras may be overheating causing that. I know phones sure will if in the hot sun.
Most likely.
What is the difference between crappie and white perch?
There's a big difference, the meat is softer in a crappie.
Sir you are in a honey Hole
That's for sure, Thanks for watching.
Awesome video Steve I wouldn't want to clean all those fish. Good job brother.
