This is a really good tutorial I had medium length damaged hair and had it cut to a slightly shorter length than yours with my natural blonde roots and a bit of bleached faded red/pink on the ends and did this exact thing and it looks flawless. I feel so much more confident with my hair and arctic fox it a good dye company!

hey! My friend is having trouble dyeing her black hair to blue. Is the reason your blue color is so bright because you had previously bleached it? We are also using arctic fox Poseidon and the Arctic fox diluter. My friend doesn’t want the color as bright as yours, she want a more subtle fade. Do you have any tips? Should we apply more dye? Should we leave it in for longer? Also I really like your hair, it looks really nice on you!!
Yes, her hair needs to be fairly light for the blue to show up so bright. Also if she ends up bleaching it and it’s more yellow, putting blue on it will potentially make it more green
when you washed it did you have any problems with the transylvania bleeding? Saw another video on here where a girl did transylvania to red, but when she rinsed the dye in the shower it bled onto the red parts and dyed them too.

Hi! I find this useful since I also have purple hair right now and it's not yet faded and I want to achieve a blue black without having a bleach bath to fade my purple color. I have a question I’ve always had about hitting the roots with black!?!? So when you wash out the dye does it not run into the lighter hair. I need to do this but am so afraid of making the lighter hair on bottom murky
I use Arctic Fox Poseidon over top of Feria Bright Black to enhance the blue-black effect, and it works really well. It doesn't give the results seen in this video though - for that, bleach is required. But I love how long the Arctic Fox lasts, and the effect is really pretty - in dull lighting my hair looks black, but in bright light/sunlight the blue is quite obvious.
Wait so the Poseidon is a darkish blue like this? Because this is literally the exact color I want to dye mine but I was trying to look up the color and I only seen results that were really light blue so I'm slightly confused right now lol.
Purple-Giraffe It depens on how much conditioner you are using for the hair colour. If you don't use that much conditioner then your hair colour becomes darker. And it also depends on your own hair colour. The darker you hair the darker or less pigmented is your result.^^

Im thinking of dying my hair like this in a few weeks, and I've been considering it for quite a few months now. Aftering having used Transylvania a few times, I'm pleased with the results and it comes up nice in my hair since my natural hair is brown. However, I'm a bit concerned about how the results may come up if I use Poseidon. TheLostSoul I'm not sure if Poseidon is a dark blue or a light blue dye. If it's dark then it should show up dark blue in light (in places where light is i.e. outside, well lit areas) but look brown in un lit/poorly lit areas same with a dark purple (which is also pretty if you're interested.) If it's a light blue it's not gonna show up at all. I'm not sure if it turned out that dark blue because of the black dye or not.

Ideally yeah you should bleach your hair first otherwise it'll be much darker, unless you like it darker.
