    I am amazed by the things you can learn on this channel... such as engine swapping, body stripping/prepping/painting, that Angel Food cake fits better in the trunk of a car if you wanted to borrow one of them.

    Thank you for showing how much work it actually takes to do it properly. I'm a professional painter and worked in collision and restoration shops and some customers don't understand the actual work that's involved. So many shows on TV and even TH-cam skip the details to make the video interesting to get the views. You definitely take pride in what you are doing. I look forward to when it's completed 😊

    You are right on this about the paint. Lots of little things will come back & bite you later after a nice paint job is applied. Like cracking, blistering, or bubbling, flaking away, & fisheyes. Great job detailing before you paint. Great video Sarah.

    I just bought those knipex plyer wrenches off the matco truck last week I love them too

      Those Knipex Plier Wrenches are worth their weight in gold. They are a must have in an aviation maintenance facility. In addition to straightening sheet metal edges, they are also used to quickly squeeze small countersunk rivets especially when installing threaded nutplates.

    Hey Sarah, POR15 does not stick very well to non-rusted surfaces. It will cure and come off like a sheet. I think that area you were going to POR15 would be better served with some brushed in epoxy. Everything looks great, perfect job so far, your quality bar is high.

    Doing the details saves a lot of problems as you pointed out like with removing the remaining glue at the window frames so not a place that could lead to peeling paint at the edges.

    When the prep-job was finished, the Celica in the paint booth looked like some kind of avantagarde art installation - and I am sure it will look like a moblie sculpture once it is done. And I would not expect anything less from you, Sarah, when it comes to attention to detail - one of many reasons I love this channel.     Although I have no intention on doing any project of this size.. I have really been learning and understanding.. also appreciating why some body shops that are well known for great work are so expensive compared to the cheep shops. Get what you pay for

    Did you know that you can use Rust-Oleum Krud kutter " the must for rust" available at either Home Depot and possibly Napa and or Walmart?.. it is phosphoric acid and it is available in spray bottles or in larger quantities for your rust removal needs 😉
