This incarnation is arguably my favorite band of all time. Such a perfect blend of black metal and thrash that hasn’t been matched since. I won’t hate their new stuff at all but damn, Chancewitch doesn’t get enough love for how perfect they were.
It took me 20+ listens of the new album to realize how great it is. Their new direction is massive. Amazing songwriting and new emotions i didn't get from the old Witch. Regardless, the Chance era will always be the hardest and fastest shit from the Witch for me.

From what I know he has gotten through rehab swimmingly. He's doing great as far as I know. I really hope he gets back into music at some point, he was unmatched.

Adam just doesn't cut it vocally or performance wise. I hate the drastic change they made musically, and their output has slowed to nothing. One album and one EP in like 8 years. We used to get one album every two years after BTP came out in 2007. The 'witch is dead.
man i love Skeletonwitch.. i don’t know what the hell happened between Nate and Chance, but it’s just not the same with a different singer and the way they blend the death metal with the old school metal is perfection🤘
Their four albums were the best metal in the past few decades. Serpents Unleashed is one of the best metal albums ever actually. I have 32 songs from those four albums on a flash drive in an order that I feel flows and they’re some of the very best metal, and definitely thrash, that there is and ever was. I’m sayin it. I’m 58 and an old school metal head (those are my pronouns actually) and SkeletonWitch are incredible to me. They’re like a sped-up Iron Maiden. The song writing with all the switch-ups and changes with continuous EPIC thrash riffs is incredible. Other than my classic metal as a category, SkeletonWitch are in a category of their own and they’re my favorite. The energy I release listening to them is epic every time. Fuuukk yeah! Hey SkeletonWitch, what part of “evil demons now control my life” didn’t you understand?! L-O-f*ing-L! --- TEAM CHANCE!!! - If you get that, drop me a hell yeah!

For me, this was my perfect band. The only other band i have said that about was Death. Followed them from the day i got an advance copy of "Beyond the Permafrost" and never looked back. Dozens of times seeing them and it never got old.

To be honest their new vocalist is incredibly good too. Especially live. Fantastic vocalist

These guys were amazing even in the beginning when they played local pubs in Ohio.
Man, they were firing on all cylinders and set to Kill that day. Wow.
I was lucky enough to see them play In a small laundromat in Cincinnati before they got huge. They were just as amazing back then.
