What makes me laugh is all these people in the comments who have come to diss our religion out of anger but mostly curiosity, thats why they're so angry. They hear the message and understand it they just don't like to accept that we're not the terrorists, they are.................

Salam (peace) & Allah Hadak (God guide you)
Thank you Chuc for your question.
You are almost right Deut. 18:16-18 is about Muhammad (not Jesus)
God told Moses, peace be upon him, He would send someone from their BROTHEREN (Ishmael was Isaac's brother) Muhammad is a descendent of Ishmael) and he was like Moses (Jesus was NOT like Moses).
Think about it - Normal birth, got married, had children, did miracles and DIED a normal death of old age.
Does this apple to Jesus, peace be upon him or not?

    • @AnglicanNew
      @AnglicanNew 10 ปีที่แล้ว

Muhammad denied being the descendant of Ishmael. (sira Halabiyah pg 36). You got this information from Ibn Ishaq who was trying to make that assertion.
Ishmael got his blessing from God to be the father of many nations but it wasn't the divine promise to Abraham and Sarah to bring forth the savior of the world.
As for Deut. 18:18 where in the history or Jewish commentary do you see Jews looking to Arabs for completion of this promise BEFORE MUHAMMAD WAS BORN? No one standing at Mt. Sinai that day or in the 2600 years to your prophets birth were ever looking for an Ishmaelite to lead them when they WERE around.
'From their brethren' could only mean the Jews, the descendants of Issac. Besides that, the Ishmaelites, the actual descendants of Ishmael, DIE OUT in the 7th century BCE.

The most striking thing about his statement, however, was that it was not an apology; it was a logical, proud justification for preserving the death penalty as a punishment for apostasy. Al-Qaradawi sounded matter-of-fact, indicating no moral conflict, nor even hesitation, about this policy in Islam. On the contrary, he asserted the legitimacy of Islamic laws in relying on vigilante street justice through fear, intimidation, torture & murder against any person who might dare to leave Islam.

Islam permits divorce because it ordains laws that take human nature into consideration and divorce is sometimes the only solution to serious problems of marital discord. However, Islam does not permit divorce without enforcing definite terms which ensure safeguarding the rights of both the husband and wife and guarantee the execution of their obligations and duties in a just and fair manner. The bond of marriage in Islam is a sacred bond which is venerated and solemnly respected.

Head of the Muslim Brotherhood Yusuf al-Qaradawi stated:
If they had gotten rid of the apostasy punishment, Islam wouldn't exist today. Islam would have ended since the death of the prophet, peace be upon him. Opposing apostasy is what kept Islam to this day.
Surah 5:33 says: "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle is that he should be murdered or crucified."According to Abi Kulaba's narration this verse means the apostates.

This is the verdict of Ibn Timiyya who was joined by some great Legists such as the Shafii, Malek, Ibn Hanbal, and the professors of Islamic law at the inception of Islam in Mecca and Medina. Most Arabs and most Islamic countries embrace their teaching. Actually, if we study Malek Ibn Ons book (Vol. 2, p. 155), we read,
"A father can force his virgin daughter, his maid-slave and his male-slave to get married."

I can do whatever I want whenever I want. I'm not a baby and am capable of making my own decisions. If that's to leave Islam, then my parents will understand, and I know that for a fact. Yes, others may not be happy with it, but isn't that for any convert of any religion; some are accepting, some aren't. I used to doubt and question Islam, but now I'm a true believer. I would never leave it b/c you don't understand how much I love it. Even if I don't wear the scarf or adhere too some principles.

    The 2nd evidence.
“Allah's Apostle said that he met Zaid bin 'Amr Nufail at a place near Baldah. Allah's Apostle presented a dish of meat (that was given to him by the pagans) to Zaid bin 'Amr, but Zaid refused to eat it and then said, 'I do not eat of what you slaughter on your stone altars (Ansabs) nor do I eat except that on which Allah's Name has been mentioned on slaughtering.' (Sahih al-Bukhari 7:407)”
Muhammad ate food sacrificed to idols that Zaid refused to Eat.

Wife Beating- Good Enough for Muhammad, Good Enough for You
Others are not nearly as squeamish. Sheikh Yousef al-Qaradhawi, one of the most respected Muslim clerics in the world, once made the famous (and somewhat ridiculous statement) that "It is forbidden to beat the woman, unless it is necessary." He also went on to say that "one may beat only to safeguard Islamic behavior," leaving no doubt that wife-beating is a matter of religious sanction.

    Q
Does Islam permit a man to hit his wife?
    A
Yes, but only if she doesn't do as he asks. The beating must cease if the woman complies with her husband's demands. Beating is also intended to be the last resort of coercing submission, behind verbal abuse and abandonment.
According her testimony in the Hadith, Muhammad, physically struck his favorite wife for leaving the house without his permission. It is not known how he treated his less-favored wives.

    FORCED MARRIAGE
Muslims regard Ibn Timiyya as the Sheikh of Islam. He truly is. He is the author of great many huge volumes on various subjects. If we open Vol. 32, pp. 29 and 30, we read,
"Even if the virgin is an adult, her father may force her to get married. This is in accordance with Malek Ibn Ons, al-Shafi and Ibn Hanbal’s."
On page 39, he also states:
"The young virgin can be forced by her father to get married without being consulted."

Islam does its utmost to make people detest divorce and urges Muslims not to resort to it as far as is humanly possible. Muhammad PBUH said "Divorce is the most detested permissible legitimate act in the eyes of God". He also said "Marry and do not resort to divorce, for the Throne of God Almighty shakes with every divorce"In addition to discouraging divorce on principle,Islam ordained certain rulings that guaranteed avoiding divorce except when it was the only solution to marital discord.

I don't know much about Saudi Arabia but in Singapore the biggest Cathedral was built on land donated by Muslims of Arab decent. In Malaysia u get Masjid and Temples side by side. Islam does not belong to the Arabs alone. So stop stereotyping Muslims base on actions of individuals. As for Muslims living in countries mentioned, they were living together in peace until the Zionist controlled media portray them as evil and an enemy of Christian to justify their ethnic cleansing in Palestine.

You're right. It musn't be a grievous beating and if it's with a stick it must be shorter than a toothbrush and some scholars say it can only be with a hankerchief. But even if it isn't a physically severe beating it's still humiliating and it's unfair; the man is entitled to beat his wife if he even suspects disobedience. So, the man doesn't need proof and the woman must be obedient. And I've read the Koran, don't worry.

no one is obliged to change their name if they become muslims, unless the name carries a negative connotation/meaning.
all of the desiples of the prophet [pbuh] kept their pre islamic names, apart from a few.
there was a man named Harb who became a muslim, harb means "war lord" and the prophet [pbuh] asked him to change his name to Salm/salama, meaning peace and tranquility. if your name is john or amy or ryan or any other commonly used name in your culture, you don't have to change it at all.

These scholars are quoted from Sahih of al-Bukhari (Vol. 7, p.96),
    HELL IS FULL OF WOMEN
"Muhammad said: ‘I saw Paradise and I stretched my hand to pluck a bunch of grapes, then I saw Hell (fire), and I have never before seen such a horrible sight as that the majority of its dwellers were women.’ The people asked, ‘O Allah’s apostle, what is the reason for that?’ He replied, ‘Because of their ungratefulness.’

A slave girl was called 'Vadhu' (wife), with whom sexual intercourse could be performed witouth any kind of marriage ceremony.
These girls belonged to the men who snatched them from the enemies, or who had received them in dowry, or as gifts. Only the men to whom they belonged could have sexual intercourse with them.

"[Vali:] 'Only five among the five-clawed creatures can be eaten by Brahmans and Ksatriyas, Raghava: the hedgehog, the porcupine, the lizard, the rabbit, and fifth, the turtle.' " -- Ramayana 4:17:34.
A very similar injunction is found in the Vaisnava dharmasastra:
"If a man has (unawares) eaten meat of a five-toed animal, with the exception of the hare, the porcupine, the iguana, the rhinoceros, and the tortoise, he must fast for seven days." -- Visnusmrti 51:6.

Well, some versions say it's ok if the husband fears desertion, some if he fears disobedience. If you deny this you're lying or mistaken. And I'm not exactly against Islam, I just don't believe it to be true. And there's nothing about fetal development in the Koran that wasn't known already and it contains mistakes as well.

MOHAMMEDAN WOMEN WILL HAVE A HELL OF A TIME
The same text is repeated in Vol. 1, p.83. In Vol. 7 of the same book (p.94), Muhammad says,
"I stood at the gate of the fire and saw that the majority of those who entered it were women."

    Then Ibn Hazm adds:
"Even if she was deflowered (previously married and divorced, or a widow) as long as she is young and has not reached the legal age, her father may force her to marry without obtaining her permission."

I am not sure whether Ibn Hazm Said that or not but any way we as Muslims do not follow Ibn Hazm nor other scholars ..
We follow Quran which makes the approval of the girl an essential for legal marriage.
If she doesn't agree then the marriage is invalid regardless her age.
And by the way there are many fake stories about the age of the wife of the prophet when she got married from the prophet. But according to historical proofs and calculations she was either 20 or 21 or 22 years old.

Abu Said said, "We went with Allah's Apostle, in the Ghazwa of Barli Al-Mustaliq and we captured some of the 'Arabs as captives, and the long separation from our wives was pressing us hard and we wanted to practice coitus interruptus. We asked Allah's Apostle (whether it was permissible). He said, "It is better for you not to do so. No soul, (that which Allah has) destined to exist, up to the Day of Resurrection, but will definitely come, into existence."
    Sahih Bukhari 3:46:718

But some slave girls were kept as joint property of the tribe or the village. Any man could have sexual rlations with them. These girls became the prostitutes. The 'Vedas'also talk about 'Niyog',the custom of childless, widow or woman having sexual intercourse with a person other than her husband to beget a child.
In simple words 'Niyog' means sending a married woman or a widow to a particular man for sexual intercourse so that she gets a son.Indication of this custom is available in'Rig Veda'

Then don't believe in it. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you too. In the quran, there is a chapter called the unbelievers/disbelievers. It says that you have your religion, and we have ours. We're not telling you to convert, but the least you could do is give us the same courtesy we give you, respect and tolerance of others beliefs. We also think it's hard to comprehend that Jesus is the son of god, but we respect your religion or whatever you believe in. We don't make fun.

No ...no one mistreated me ...I have not problems with muslims I actually have many that are my friends. My problem is with the religion and yes I've read the book in Arabic too...I am Arab. Do you see how your not refuting anything i said because u know its true but you can't leave your religion because you know the consequences. So don't talk to me of the unbelievers...you and I both know what happens to those that leave islam.

As long as she is a virgin or just still young, she can be forced to get married without her consent. These are unequivocal, plain words. "Without her consent", and "does not have any choice." These are cruel, hard words and iniquitous Islamic principles which the free human conscience utterly rejects and detests because it is related to the most important subject in the girl’s life, that is, her body and her future.
