Urijah has always seemed to keep it real and maintain his authenticity. I do not see a reason as to why he would lie about Duane aside from potential jealousy but again... it does not fit the mold of Urijah's character (from what we see) but who knows! He definitely cut the grass in the interview though... #snakes

This really opened up my eyes on the situation, I always thought it was an ego thing with Urijah and Duane but this really puts it all in place. Urijah has always puts his guys first in the past whereas Duane has always taken the credit and criticized them.

Man i feel Faber on this one. Ive ran into characters like Duane Ludwig. This guy used to be so unstable. He would do the same. He would call me and cry, mind you he was a grown ass man. He would do the same and bully people, be irrational and than when I wouldnt deal with him anymore. He would talk behind my back and do things to break up my circle. I even said the same that this guy was acting like that jealous psycho ex-girlfriend. People like that have a mental disorder and shouldnt be allowed with the public. If you are part of his class get the hell out. Mom/Dad dont think of letting your son/daughter join that gym. You are making a big mistake.

If what Faber says is true, it sounds like Ludwig may have a serious mental illness. Paranoia about money, elevated unstable mood, erratic behavior, inflated sense of self-importance, irritability, difficulty with work and social interaction, describes bi-polar behavior. Faber sounds like he's trying to keep his team together but how long will it be before guys start taking sides and a potential split happens?

Great interview, Urijah seems like a genuinely honest guy, Would be great to get Duane Ludwig side and we can assess what really happened. For now pretty convinced by the level of detail from Faber's interview. But to be fair Ariel you should give Ludwig the same air time.
Urijah is a nice guy. And he's very reasonable. I wouldn't have put up with Ludwig that much

There is no evidence that TJ was a snake in the grass...if anything there is evidence of the contrary....if Dwayne asked TJ not to mention that he was planning to leave....and then TJ turned around and told everyone....then he would be a snake, not the other way around. It was up to Dwayne to be professional and give a fair notice he was leaving...it wasn't on TJ...when you are going to leave a job...do you tell your buddy to go put in your notice? LOL Of course not.

Ive listened to Duanes side of the story - if that even was a comeback - and i find it very hard not to take Urijah's side of this. Hes on his arse and Urijah offers him an opportunity and he asks for more money right away?! Duane is taking far too much credit for the success of TAM.

the fact that urijah didnt come out with this stuff earlier displays what a great person he is. duane has been shooting his mouth off non stop and urijah has been i guess biting his tongue. lets not forget, urijah is not only a superb person, he's mentored countless dudes to change their lives while single handily building one of the best gyms on the world. his contribution to where mma is today is incalculable. he was the face of the WEC, and the primary reason it exploded when it did. i remember being blown away by his charisma and super positive attitude. he's one of those guys who you cannot say the sport would be where it is today without his era period. the only reason people dislike urijah is because he's one of those people who seemingly has it all and exudes positivity and confidence which is like kryptonite to negative losers. duane is obviously one of those guys we all come across who are completely controlled by greed at all costs. its too bad because duane does have an idiot savant-like ability to adapt kicking boxing and muay thai to mma that has created a champ.
I like how ariel ask the one question that basically sums up this 1 hour and half of uriah talking about Ludwig at the end. Arial-'do you regret working with duane'. uriah-'yes I do regret working with Duane'.

Unfortunately, it sounds like Duane is suffering from the sequels of traumatic brain injuries suffered throughout his career. Erratic behavior, severe mood swings, aggressive tendencies, delusions, etc. These are all symptoms of TBI, he should seek the help of a neurologist. Quite sad actually.
Sounds like he might have a drug habit behind closed doors. That is why he is always on the hustle for money.
As a diligent fan of 10+ years, I am utterly disgusted of Duane's actions... and I must commend Uriah's patience and fortitude.

Urijah has spent his entire career being a humble, genuine dude. That makes it hard to doubt anything he says. The picture he paints with his stories are so vivid. Good for urijah, he kept it as professional as he could

Duane had to have grown up in a dysfunctional environment or he smokes to much weed[memory is failing]The complete lack of trust,accusing everyone of lying,trying to take something from him,I can only imagine the pressure Urijah was under,running a business,travel,etc and at the same time dealing with a dysfunctional coach.Duane should seek out professional counseling,he's burning a lot of bridges,few people have a heart as big as Urijah,most would of ended the personal,business relation,instantly.I hope Duane does the right thing and makes amends with all the people he betrayed.

Urijah is a good, honest dude. I never knew much about Duane but I believe Faber. Duane sounds like the guy you try to help but the guy doesn't even help his own cause and sabotages everyone, even the ones that are helping him. Faber gave him far more patience than I would.

Met Faber a few times in Vegas, always been a genuine, stand up guy, very nice and approachable.. Met Duane also, every time he came off as a egotistical asshole. I can see Duane being a sneaky snake about this whole ordeal.

I USED to respect Ludwig. I have heard so much negative about ALPHA MALE, after the War Machine situation, Dillashaw, and I saw this about Ludwig (P.O.S. I used to love "Bang" but after hearing all this...) This situation has blown up because Urijah tried to be a good guy and keep it low key, and this is what happens when a good guy acts as a good guy and the P.O.S. talks out in poor taste. I wish this didn't happen, I have always loved Urijah, Dillashaw, and Ludwig. This changes my perception.
