Saw them at Lollapalooza 96 (the year Sonic Youth was headlining) being up in the seats at what used to be Irvine Meadows. Yow’s mic kept coming unplugged, and because it was all seats, he resorted to putting security in a playful headlocks. While small as an ant hill in visibility, they were killer.
Love the animation style!! Crude and cartoony, but the actual technical aspects of the animation are brilliantly composed- so flawlessly smooth and interestingly directed!
Considering all the ass lame come back albums as of late, special mention for Jane's addictions recent disappointment / stinker from hell, the Jesus lizard has remained remarkably fresh, masculine, and fucking ass kicking awesome

They've been one of my favourite band for over 30 years I've never forgotten! And could not even forget!
I have been a fan of these guys and David Yow since the late 80s and early 90s. I love their unpolished punk esthetic and fucking awesome jams.
