About Doom at Your Service (어느 날 우리집 현관으로 멸망이 들어왔다):
Tak Dong Kyung (Park Bo Young) is as down on her luck as they come. A few years ago, her parents were killed in a sudden accident. She responded by throwing herself into her work as a web-based novel editor.
But misfortune strikes again when she is suddenly diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor.
On a dark night, she goes up to a rooftop and calls out to the heavens, asking for an end to her misery.
But this time, her call is not unheeded. Her words summon a mysterious celestial being named Myeol Mang (Seo In Guk), an intermediary between humans and the heavens. He arrives and tells her that he can make her wishes come true - if she is prepared to pay the ultimate price.
She agrees, and strikes a fateful deal with him: She will be allowed to live the life she dreams of for 100 days - after which the grim reaper will take her soul.
But as he gets to know this remarkable mortal, Myeol Mang slowly begins to develop feelings for her...complicating relations between the human and immortal realms.
“Doom at Your Service” is a 2021 South Korean drama series that was directed by Kwon Young Il.

This scene is so indescribably heart-breaking. I love that he tells her that her name (Dong Kyeong) which means deep longing is one of the words that will never disappear and you can feel the universal truth of the deep longing she feels - the way those who have lost loved ones long for them. It’s such a relatable feeling, to so desperately miss the ones who are not with us. In that moment when the alarm gently chimes - my heart shattered. 😔🥺😢😩😭💔💔💔💔💔

There's this scene ... And there's the scenes where she was going by her life after his disappearance... Cleaning her house and doing laundey.... Omg i can't even discribe the amount of tears i've shed ... Literally heartbreaking
After crying my heart out in the episode prior, my heart was lifted momentarily, when this scene began, but sunk again immediately after, because I knew it was a dream... Then rewatched the whole show and cried my eyes dry again... (honestly, the show's plot is set up to be sad, and it's honestly such a relief that it has a happy ending despite being sad for the whole thing... so much different than the drama he had done prior which I still can't rewatch in full because I haven't recovered from that ending)

She only cried twice after he dissipated. For someone who claimed that she couldn’t live without him she sure wasn’t sad.
Then what do u expect? For her to live miserably and cry everyday? He wanted to her to live a good life and she cried she wasn't okay with it but still she had to live and wait for him. So she tried to remain happy with her loved ones but deep inside she wasn't well and always missing him
It was mentioned several times that she had basically trained herself not to cry after her parents died when she was young. Whenever she felt like crying, she went to that beach in Jeju. I think in one of the earlier episodes she even said she struggle to cry even when she wants to. People express, suppress and experience sadness in many different ways. I think her rare tears suited her character well, a strong individual who doesn't want to be a burden to others
If you think crying is the only representation of sadness, you missed the whole point of the drama. She was miserable her whole life. You go through a series of emotions when you lose someone, not just crying and sadness. She has to keep her composure somehow
