Interesting how he said he had been brought up around Buddhism but only discovered it later on in life and inferred he had been looking in the wrong place for such a long time. Made me chuckle because how often in life do we look around and reach out to grasp the things that we think will make us happy i.e material belongings when in actual fact the things that can bring us true fulfillment are often staring us right in the face such as our children, our partner, music or art. Humans are simple creatures with very basic needs, if you ask you self honestly you really don't need much. However, your ego makes you think you need more than you actually do.
Perhaps the saddest fact being simply that people need so much; cars, travel, imported food, second homes and sophisticated gadgets well beyond their understanding. Often it turns out that the best things in life are and always have been free.
Have you ever thought about how easy it is to depend on materialistic items for our happiness? Share your thoughts, I'd love to hear them!
Even after 3 yrs of interval, ur teaching and voice still ring as reassuring as the fresh air. Thank you Gelong
As a recent [2 years] adopter of yoga and meditation I'm looking forward to this one. Several minutes in and I'm loving it already!
Congratulations for the interview ! Gratitude from Brazil.

This lady is too talkative and spent most of the time to share her thoughts than allowing this monk to share his wisdom of words based on experiences
The American dilemma .... That next material thing will be the thing that fulfills us.
Where has the interview with Rhonda Byrne gone? Seems to have deleted?
I was wondering that too
Unfortunately the audio quality of the interviewer is rather poor. And she dominates the quality time he tries to share with us. 😢
She should talk less.
