Description: 'Oumuamua made an orthogonal flyby between the inner planets of our solar system in 2017. It's entry angle and speed point to it's interstellar origin, but it's exit trajectory and acceleration don't appear natural to one Harvard astronomer who thinks this may just be an alien scout ship. It is estimated that the 1936 Olympics broadcast was the first signal high enough to pass through ionosphere and considering electromagnetic waves travel at the speed of light, that broadcast is now 90ly away.

@@jordanrussell358 I'm pretty sure it would take 90 years for it to travel 90 light years. It has only traveled 83 light years since that's how long it's been traveling for now.
It wasn’t a powerful enough broadcast to get very far.
I’m pretty sure Seth Shostak of SETI said that not much of what we’ve broadcast has gotten further than 2.5 light years before it lost so much power that it became unintelligible.
@@Ripsta Not really. Radio travels at the speed of light in a vacuum. Space is not only vacumm. There is gas which slows down the waves. However, the universe is also expanding at the speed faster than light so the estimate is 90ly accounting for all these variables. You cannot draw an absolute number, so 80-90ly distance

After browsing around for more info about Oumuamua, finding this video was a real treat. This format & style of ASMR is a welcome respite from a lot of those over-the-top TV documentaries with the loud, melodramatic music, repetitive CGI clips, and sensationalized narration. A relaxing way to explore the mysteries of our world & the universe. Thank you!

Hey Rich - just wanted to get this out there: Sunburns aren't the result of photons exerting a "force" on your body, at least not in the literal sense - they're a result of UV radiation bombarding your DNA and causing a chemical change. This can generally result in unnatural bond formation between adjacent DNA bases, disrupting DNA. When the DNA repair system gets overwhelmed, the cell kills itself, and this process generally triggers an inflammatory response in the affected area.
