Duidelijke video, bedankt!

Thank You Michael for your prompt reply. It reminds me to an old saying we had in Puerto Rico " La madre de la invencion biene por nececidad" In other words you needed the rhythm ,didnt find it any where so you created it cuz you needed...:-) by necessity.. & lucky fot us ( your students) we have you helping us your brethrens, Thank you Michael and keep up the good work. Its Greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the great lesson. A way you could explain the "triplet" on the last exercise is to show its beat division: three over two poly rhythm - which is what it really is. I always explain to my students that a triplet is three beats per one beat - eighth note triplet, sixteenth note triplet and so on. What you are playing is actually three beats over two beats of a 4/4 measure.

Gracias

Hello John, I make the music myself, but I don't know if you can download it... I don't have it on my site, so the only possible way to download it is here on TH-cam, I think. Good luck and thank you!

Your hand movements would be easier to instinctively follow if the video image was reversed. As I sit and watch of course your left and right is currently the opposite of mine as I view it. Think of it as if the viewer was looking straight down at their own hands and drums.
