Some of the better live shows I ever went to were old Trapt shows. His voice is starting to fade a bit now, but it's still generally more consistent than most.

I think part of it is that they don't use a ridiculous amount of effects and sounds like most bands tend to these days. Saw them back about a month ago, and a month before that as well, both times sounded like the record with no crazy effects or issues.

Touching the heart of everyone that sings them, and SELLING OUT like 90% of bands today just to get on radiowaves, are 2 completely different things. Trapt has NEVER sold themselves out just to make it on charts and have a bigger fan base. EVERY concert you go to of theirs has so much energy and harmony. Every single person sings back every lyric from the heart. THATS what a true rock band is all about -- I know, I have one.

Yeah I definitely agree. Kinda like their first album... they started with "Headstrong" and "Still Frame" which quickly propelled them to the top, then settled in nicely with "Echo", which also fared very well chart-wise. I know they won't disappoint, and rumor has it they're already working on some new stuff that is pretty kickass. That's why I'm waiting for their new tour, so I can see if they have a new song or two that they play.
Nope. Mostly for what has happened over the last year or so, including lately. I no longer hold them in that regard, and I have found many other bands who have done for me lately what they did once for me (if that makes sense).

The tempo in the very beginning is slower by half a measure on purpose, to kinda build up the crowd and song because it's their biggest hit but also the last song they played that night... but if you listen carefully once they get into it, it's normal tempo.
He is pretty consistent on this one though. I have to admit he sounds pretty good live here. I just don't like the person behind it. Accepting rape if it's intent is a bit vague. With the 5 year old + priest and 15 year old + teacher debacle. I can't take this man seriously.
