Tried it! I have putty erasers but I’m bored with a lot of spare solid erasers I never use. It took some molding after getting the shavings but it works the same as my store bought ones. I used a yellow eraser so it’s a small and adorable yellow one.

Ive been using my kneaded erasers as a molding/sculpting medium. They are really soft but after a little while of sitting still they get really hard and stiff so they are really great for simple projects!

actually, this is still really helpful, i cant find putty erasers in any stores in my country, and i dont have anything like amazon to order one, so this is a cool alternative in my opinion, especially since i have alot of used erasers in pretty bad condition so yeah
