Thank you! ll the other videos I saw were "tearing apart the outer guts" breaking the glue etc. (mostly "men":) And I broke "clamp A" with an incorrect pen (in my tiredness grabbed the wrong one!) I had to get into the "housing" and you did it! Had to spend about $15 to get "precision screwdrivers" but no worse for the wear considering the cost of a replacement machine!. Thank you! Back up and running! machine is totally operational!
Cynthia , IO also found one good Cricut Explore Air 2 in dumpster, mine luckily had everything but power cord and I bought one on Amazon for $24.00 . Hopefully you can buy the ribbon part. Those two round inserts are for marker and needle, yours is missing the needle on the right side and marker goes on the left. It is the way mine came and there exact same. Pull those two round tabs and see if the one on right has the needle in. TH-cam will have tutorials on all this. I'm impressed that you can take this apart! At 0.55 seconds is what I mean. is there any way you can disassemble the main grey housing where the pen and cutter is? i took mine apart and there’s a spring that i have no idea goes where. pls help!
