I have normal bike and I use this reserve to reserve method. My 100cc hero Honda bike once gave 77 kmpl when I rode in mixed condition, 40% traffic, 60% highway. Ideally it was written as 82 kmpl. I used to fill 4.92 litres for rs 200 in year 2009 and it used to run around 380km at a stretch.
