i went to fwa, and it was alot of fun!! i didnt go in fursuit, though i already had a friend who had a fursuit. so i already had someone to hang around with. My suggestion is to try to find someone else going to your con that you know and hang around with them X3

I hope I wasn't 9 :'D I did take a lot of photos and videos. of fursuiters 70% of which I still have to put online. I was just mostly going around getting good moments on video, asking Fursuiters to pose for me. As some fursuiters apparently can't pose all that well or don't know what to do so it helps to give them guidance. Other than that it was an amazing con, I enjoyed it, was good to have a laugh with you too on the first day actually, early day, the best day, because nothing is fucking happening and you can just chill out with friends at the bar, and no I did not accept your Badge :'D Because I am not a fanboy, although I do have one in my wardrobe ._. I don't know how it got there.
honestly this was kinda reassuring. anxious about my first con; anxious about ending up alone again during con, but i mean we're all in big fluffy animal costumes, the ice is already broken i guess. i will try my damndest not to be a clinger now thou, that sounds like it was.... really uncomfortable haha
And remember guys, not everyone enjoys conventions and there are people who seem a little desperate. I wouldn't be overly mean to them, but I can see where Artemis is coming from being quite a confident person in social situation.....well I just don't really care haha but yeah he's entitled to his opinion just like everyone else :3 I had a great time at CF and didn't really get lurked on, but I am of the female variety so we sometimes get a bit of a break haha!

I really wish people would just TELL US when it becomes clear that your mysterious subtle signals aren't being received. I can't speak for everyone, of course, but at least for me, I'm not gonna make a scene or make it more difficult than it needs to be. Even when it happened to me, when they finally did (after way too long) work up the nerve to ask me not to hang out with them, all I did was quietly apologize, walk away, and let them do their thing from then on. Like, how hard was that? I'm not gonna go nuclear or anything.
That is pretty much how I felt about my first two con's. So much damn fun, but so many other things that were ohh soo odd! I got use to it by the final day, but it's a lot to "absorb". I'll say this much, if I was on the fence about being a "furry" prior, the shit I saw and dealt with at the con, absolutely made me a one after. LOL :P

Cfz is really fun! Another good one not *too far away is Nordic Fuzz Con. People are really social there. Stateside some of the better cons would be megaplex, blfc, mff, and fwa.
I need help! What age do you have to be go? Can you book a room if your under 18 but with an adult? If not, would I be able to stand outside with the fursuiters? Are there any kids there? I'm so sorry I'm desperate to go to a convention but most cons in the UK, I'm under age limit! So many cons in USA allow kids. And yes, I'm aware I'm watching fury videos that swear XD
