So much fun Cathleen. Beautiful ornaments 😘🇦🇺
What fun! I’ll have to give this a go with my granddaughters. Thanks for sharing 💕💕
These turned out lovely! I love your ideas on how to secure the ornaments and catch the drips.
Thanks for this video Cathleen!
I’m loving your Christmas Baubles Cathleen. Such a great idea to do this with my grand babies. Happy to see you back from FAE and that a magical time was had by all. Love, light and blessings sweet lady, to you and your family, from Australia ♥️💥🙏💐💐💐💐💐
My Gbaby loves to do these Fiona
divino seu trabalho.
Very beautifull work as usual love all this décorations well done 👏👏👏
I think you could use the alcohol ink and a black paint pen for a stain glass look
Looks like you had fun 😁
I did Tomasina
@@COZCreationsArt way back when I started selling my work, Christmas ornaments was big for me. Really big, that’s how I met my man 🥰
That was so fun Cathleen! I definitely have to give that a go. Thanks for sharing the pictures of FAE. What a great bunch of creative, fun, painting peeps! I'm super excited for you guys to have it in Seattle...my old stomping grounds. I am upset...the TH-cam machine did not send me a notification of your video. I checked and I have the all box checked. Hopefully, I haven't missed my favorite painting peeps videos. So glad you got to spend Thanksgiving with your beautiful girls!😊❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
Tera I would be so happy to paint with you in Seattle. It’s such a relaxed wonderful time.
I'd wrap electric tape on ur dowels to reuse. A trick my husband told me several yrs back
Cathleen this looks like so much fun! Do you think Indian Inks will work instead of alcohol inks? I was given some and don't know what to do with them. Or any other ideas what I can do with them??? I can't wait to try this with my grandbabies!
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
So you want a warm honey consistency for doing these ornaments?
Yes Gloria
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH...SOOO STUNNING THOSE LITTLE PIGGYS ...
I'M GONNA EXPERIMENT WITH RESIN AND INKS...AND ACCORDING TO I THINK TAMMY ANDERSON...I CAN ADD SMALL AMOUNTS OF ACRYLIC PAINTS TO THE RESIN WITHOUT CHANGING IT CHEMICALLY.
THANKS AGAIN...
Have fun!
Loved all of them when I do alcohol ink on my ornaments I coat I the inside with a solid acrylic paint on the inside make the alcohol ink stant out more 😊
I can't wait to give this a try! I really love the purple and blue ornament especially using premixed paint. I think doing crafts around the holidays is soooo special and makes for the best memories. Glad you had a wonderful time at the FAE and got to spend some time with your girls. Hugs my friend ❣️💙💜
Happy Holidays Darling Gayle
Love the idea with the paper towels. Holding the balls on the dowels
Love your ornaments, but random question - what's the name of the song playing and who's the artist?
Barb it’s from epidemic sound. I would need to listen 🤪
It’s called “Walking on cloud nine”
I was just wondering can these ornaments I'll also be done with mod podge and napkins
I am sure you can Gloria. I have used Mod Podge before. Never napkins
Gorgeous Cathleen ❣️🥰you are so beautiful, my Queen of Swipes. Love from Germany your Doris
Thank you my Doris 😊
Do you need a clear resin over the ready to pour paint on the bauble?
Yes if that’s your preference. You can also use a spray varnish
Did you find the DecoArt ready pour paints to be too thin?
Hello Courtney hard to remember but I would say yes for ornaments.
WOWWW magnificent ideas to personalise your little gift for friends, thank you for sharing in video 😍
You had me at NO Bra Zone!!!
Lol just a free and easy place
What is golden gac 800

How would you seal these?
Hello Amy. You could spray varnish or resin them
They’re like giant delicious lollipops!! They’ll make a tree beautiful, Cathleen. What a great idea!
Stunning
Thank you! 😊
These are stunning. Would not have of using the bloom formula. Bravo.
TFS all the beautiful painted ornaments! I love that you shared different techniques and paint media! I also loved seeing your tips on items to hold the ornaments while painting, swirling, & drying. A VERY informative video!!
I have the DecoArt ready to pour paints that I've used to get started paint pouring on glass vases & small canvases. I plan to use those DecoArt ready to pour paints on Christmas ornaments this year. What varnish (such as polyacylic) would you suggest to seal the DecoArt ready to pour painted ornaments? If the surface is fairly even in the end, I would also attempt to adhere simple custom Cricut vinyl decals (such as single initials) on top of the varnish.
Joy any spray varnish will do. I use Golden’s
I spend more time watching videos than pouring. I poured a couple last night and was wondering about several things you covered. Am off to do redo. THANKS!
Robert I probably watched 1000 videos before my first pour. But practice is the best thing.
Wow, so beautiful! I’ll have to try this!
These are beautiful. The blooms look like stained glass.
I have done ornaments for a few years now. Working on some right now.
I use styrofoam coolers, cute down each side to make several squares. I line each rim with painters tape, to hold in the drips, line the foam with glad press n seal wrap. I put pencils into the foam and put the ornaments on each pencil. Depending on size, I can get from 4 to 8 ornaments on each foam section. I pour mine, not swirl them, to a use a piece of painted tape around the neck of the bulb and around the pencil to hold them in place. Works great!
Great idea Kim. Thanks for sharing.
I’m so sad that I missed being at FAE! I know you had a wonderful time! These Christmas balls are great! I just purchased some alcohol ink so I am going to have to try that! Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
Jeannie come see us in Seattle. Would love to meet you
Fabulous creations Cathleen!! Thanks for the indepth video!! I have failed miserably at ornaments and now have a plan that will make ornaments for me!!
Have fun Ellen
Oh that looks like so much fun! Where did you get the glass ornaments? Amazon?
Michaels Kathryn
Magical! All of them! ❤️
I loved your intro and learning grow you began your pouring journey. Your style and knowledge are very much appreciated.
Lauren thank you
Did you varnish or resin afterwards? Thank you! Love them!
Not yet JoAnn. Been traveling. I will dip them in resin. That was suggested by a friend.
These are so cool.
