We as a fanbase need to push Mo Salah into the Ballon D’or conversations no matter what. It’s time to give our best player of this generation his recognition
It's so crazy to me on social media, the yapping about who's closest to Messi/Ronaldo-tier and Ballon D'or and the world's current greatest and they say names like Vini and Haaland and Rodri and Kane and whoever, but Mo almost always was never spoken of. Baffles me. This man has consistently been one of the most dangerous attacking player since season one of his Liverpool career, playing in the premier league. That's 2017, SEVEN years ago. This season is his EIGHTH playing for Liverpool, and he's still at the absolute top of anybody's expectation. Name me any player who performs that well, that consistently, for that long, and you will soon realize those names are anybody's all-time greats. So why isn't Mo? This is his position in the PL top scorer chart, starting from 2017-18: 2017-18: 1st at 32 goals 2018-19: 1st at 22 goals 2019-20: 5th at 19 goals 2020-21: 2nd at 22 goals 2021-22: 1st at 23 goals, tied with Son 2022-23: 4th at 19 goals 2023-24: 7th at 18 goals, the season where he missed 12 matches due to hamstring injury and Klopp announced midway through the season that it would be his last Speaking of just scoring the most goals in a season, he's currently tied with only Kane and Shearer who also has three total PL Golden Boots. The record holder is Henry with four. Kane was the last active PL player with all-time most goals scored at 213, before he left for Leverkusen. Now it's Mo at 165. Before Kane it was Agüero at 184. Henry has 175. All that before you even consider the rest of Mo's repertoire. Pressing, ball-winning that converts directly to scoring counter-attacks, assists and almosts assists, playmaking, once you look into all that you will literally vomit from seeing his name everywhere it gets so boring. Salah unlocked ultra instinct after the haircut.
Nothing wrong with the club waiting a few months. We've got a new manager, starting a new era.. we needed to see how the future was looking with Arne Slot, and if all looking well, then how Arne felt about Mo.
That said, fair to say all the boxes have been ticked by now, so the club should be giving Mo whatever he wants right now. Hopefully it gets done this international break.
The so called one season wonder! Doing wonders in his 7th season or 8th
the best one season wonder
What a stupid narrative. I swear some football fans are ridiculous.
We should sell him to Barcelona and take lamine yamal in exchange! Everyone’s a winner!
Adrian, could you please do a video highlighting Di Maria / Benfica this season!?
⚠️FACT⚠️
The moment u give Salah, Trent & Virj new contracts, their performances WILL drop like a rock🤏
Mashallah❤
Salah 2024/25 really feels like messi 2018/19. A 32 year old who is seen as almost finished but who has probably his most complete form
Oh they can, and they will continue to do so. I'm not referring to the banter bellends on social media, either. He didn't even get on the long list for Ballon d'Or somehow last year.
Great video. New sub 👍🏽
SALAH 😍
I understand that he's goal scoring has bit a relatively off, however how many other players finished top 5 in both scoring and assisting since he joined the EPL?
If Salah continues at Liverpool for two seasons, he will become the best player in the history of the English Premier League. Salah is not English and started with Liverpool at the age of twenty-five. Does this make sense?
Salah ❤❤
I don't care about his stats, I just love to see the man laugh.
The Jinx
Just fking hope stays he uninjured this season, him and VVD actually
U cant ignore mo bcz he is a Alien
FSG's tactic will mean the club likely loses one of the 3 on a free transfer.
It's 2025, football has changed.
We now know that wingers can have as much, if not more goal opportunities than strikers.
The mo salah disrespect is real, i don’t why 🤔
I don't really see it. He's one of the best of this generation.
Let’s be honest here now Salah is the most disrespected, under appreciated elite footballer that’s just facts💯
The power of an hair transplant gentlemen...
United fan here. I'm jealous of Salah.
Mo Pele
I got payed more too after my haircut ❤
Can you make a video about Man City's recent losses?
The best player in the world
🙌🏿🔥💥
Sadly it seems like they are gonna lose Trent to madrid
that's FSG's own fault if it is true. Letting valuable players leave on a free is something you can easily avoid, just either agree 1 year before expiry and sign or else sell. So I wouldn't have much sympathy if they do lose him
Canadian accent is so weird
Mo Salah ☝🏼
YNWA 👍🏼
This reminds me of when Thor got a haircut, then kicked ass on Ragnarok.
was he ever not as his best?
Any chance Salah would come to the US? Or is Islamophobia too rampant here (US) for the fans to embrace him?
They opened talks with him about a contract but it’s not satisfying for him, probably less than 350k/week.
221 goals 99 assist salah Liverpool
The best "one season wonder" seven seasons running 😂
I feel a jinx coming in the next couple of months
He'll sign as back up to Lamine Yamal.
He's shaved his head before bro...
Your Facts are WRONG!!!
Liverpool Fans DO NOT want to lose Salah. We/I want him to retire a Liverpudlian. But if he Leaves He Leaves. That something we can't Control. But don't think for a second that we won't Survive. We have PLENTY of players who can/Will fill in. We have Ballers, We have Gamers. We'll Be Just Fine!
Liverpool are a Juggernaut and people better start the Realization!
*YNWA*
Like who bro ? Chiesa is another thiago alcantara, elliot is like a cheap copy. Salah IS liverpool's offensive danger. He creates AND finishes chances. He's the most complete winger this season. Rumors say they're looking at kudus to replace salah, now thats just sad.
I think Kvara can do it
They said vino should have won balon dor when salah outperformed him and wasnt even top 25 lmao
Is funny that Egyptian people don't know how he is... FACT 😜 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
And it's END'S of time
FACT
Salah is def going to Saudi Arabia after winning the PL
What's with you and the hair cut bro?😂😂
Salah to Chelsea
mehh...he's only one season wonder for 7 time in a row😆
Until he meets madrid again and shit his pants.
No views in a minute, bro's washed
