I think the extra hole is so you can adjust the pocket clip to a deeper carry. Another winner from Kizer.

Glad you're doing a vid on this one. My first knife in 154CM and couldn't believe how well it strops up. Maybe it's the steel, maybe it's the hollow grind but it gets sticky sharp and whispers through paper.

This year I've gone kizer crazy and now see my next victim lol. Thank, enjoy a hollow grind.

Every single Kizer I own, upon taking it out the box, I've assumed that the dummies haven't tightened the pivot. Every time, I'm wrong. I don't know how they do it. INSANE actions on their knives. I love them. They've taken the "affordable" crown from CIVIVI as far as I'm concerned as my goto brand if I have some spare sheckels to spend on a knife.

Wow...loving this knife! The blade shape is awesome. Putting this one on my Christmas wish list for sure!

Kizers action and drop are the best in the business in my opinion.

Really like the new Domin. Great blade shape and that hollow comes down to 0.010" behind the edge!

Do you know the grind angle from the factory?

    • @BladeLabMiami
      @BladeLabMiami ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@SimplicityEDC Mine came at around 20° per side, but in truth there wasn't much of an edge bevel at all. Pretty poor factory edge at 245g BESS.

@@BladeLabMiami thanks man! I thought so, Kizer usually has them around 20. Still happy with it? Seems like a great slicer

@@SimplicityEDC Yep, it's an excellent slicer. I still like it.

I'm very partial to Wharnies, Sheepsfoot, Cleaver, Tanttos and Reverse Tantos. Kizer really put out a lot of really good looking knives w/ those blades this year. Then, pulled out the Drop Bear, Hic-Cup and so many others that I'm now really digging the other blades.
Then dropped the Denim micarta, Sarape bundle and fat carbon versions! They're leaving the other brands in the dirt.
The Vosteed Raccoon & CJRB Pyrite are other examples of gorgeous blades.

I am a big fan of the original Domin. Now I have to have one of these new ones.

Would you rather have that green Domin or the QSP Osprey? Love this particular Domin. Hollow grind on that blade makes a great slicer I bet.

I haven’t bought a single Kizer yet . Everyone says their action and detents are really good lately this last year . Like kizer got with civivi or something and have their own thing now . Can anyone verify ? Thanks knife community amigos 😊

I have loved every single Kizer I have owned. They all have great action, great detent, and their heat treat always seems on point. Highly recommend Kizer knives. The cool thing with Kizer is ya don't have to buy their premium knives to get premium feel/fit n finish.

I'm not liking my Grazioso. Very hard to flip open. Micarta looks cheap and not green as listed. I have a very cheap Tunafire that has better looking micarta, and it's actually green. I also don't like the slightly recurved blade or the shiny pocket clip. Solidly built though.

It's adjustable clip height I don't know why but I think that's what it is I really like that knife though 😀

@@LuvThemKnives well of you ever decide to let it go or trade it off for something just as rare, please let me know. I've always wanted a 4" blade Microtech stitch and that is the closest I'll probably ever get.

Someone wants to steal the fame of qsp penguin!
The blade shape is uglier, but overall nice knife, with good materials. Penguin is in 154cm too but with titanium scales which makes it more expensive.

    Can someone help.
I have BAAAAD experience with micarta and I don't buy micarta knives anymore, because they get damaged and start 'unraveling' after only mild abuse. I have read online that both micarta dust and g10 dust are actually very dangerous to your health, so naturally, I don't want any of that in my pockets or house, but g10 generally doesn't chip or unravel that much. Micarta just seems really weak and frail and easy to damage... and when it is damaged, it's dangerous to your health. Forget it then. What do you think?

I just cut test Kizer 154cm and cut test Kizer n690, results on IG. I will say this, the 154cm edge retention was more then double that of n690!
