Whales in the sky ... and other features common across multiple games: Almost every game engine out there has it's own forums, and within those forums you find various "communities". It's common to have design challenges within these communities. Sometimes it's a musical or sound design challenge, sometimes it's to design a new game mechanic, sometimes the challenge is to best utilize some tool of the game engine, and sometimes it's to design world details and atmosphere of a particular genera. Many times the results of these challenges find their way into games released to the public. The nature of these challenges are "friendly competition" and although the assets used may have copyrights, the ideas and methods do not, so they can end up in multiple games all around the same time.
you know you have skill points on the left when you open inventory :P. also it says you can feed the pigs with carrot, maybe thats what they want you to do, feed it not kill it
This is quite lacking, even for an early access. I'd go as far as saying this game is barely in a state of what you would expect a very early alpha build to look like. Thank you for sharing though.
🎵Oh my god, look at that butt🎵. (Great *another* song stuck in my head!) 43:50 GE and selective reading again. Look what it says to feed them in the upper right hand corner. ( *Read all the quest GE* )
I was questioning, since this is Early Access, whether maybe the arrows stacked when they dropped from something you killed. But you did turn up 2 arrows short when you picked up the arrow after the successful kill. You fired 3 arrows, 3 hits, and got back 1 arrow. (based on the count in your inventory a few minutes earlier and the next time you opened your inventory) I'm not sure what logic the dev is using but it might be a glitch in that they may intend for the arrows to stack, but the count is defaulting to 1 no matter how many you hit with. it might be they intend you to only be able to get a percentage of your arrows back, idk. But my first impulse was to check the quantity after retrieving them, as some game logic would make multiples of certain items appear as just one, especially in early development. I'm pretty sure your problem with "not being able to see through your head" was because you had backed up toward the wall, and the camera view was forced in closer to your character, which is slightly better in most cases than seeing the outside of the wall behind you.
It looks like a cool game, but the graphics are pretty cheesy for this day and age. It needs a bit of work, but that is to be expected with an early release. I'll keep watching it.
I like this game, very beautiful and seems interesting, on Steam it says "Stone Age to industrial power", hope they fix the issue and you can play more so we can see if it's worth it
Hey bro a huge fan here did you ever play scum? It’s just like the infected with way better zombies and graphics it’s the best game I ever played crafting building farming and much more and the biggest best map u ever since lol and has bunkers to loot the crafting is fantastic got everything u can think of and the most complex health system ever created just like real life it’s insane give it a try plus multiplayer. I highly recommend it bro u will fall in love
Ah.. Gameedged? When you play a story based game.. one that goes to the trouble to include a lot of lore info. It might help to actually read through the story. It is a game, it should consist of more than just mechanics. otherwise, its not really much of a review of the actual game. Just a contest of who can make the best build system. Just saying.
One of the better videos from GE that I've seen in a while. I'm really glad he actually followed the quests/tutorial.
I think you can use the charcoal as fuel, but it seemed like it supposed to be placed in the slot to the right of the wood not below.
whales in the sky is like a normal sunday for me in Sweden hehe

The shapes of the iron ore are matching the shape in the furnace. (left below the fuel) maybe the ores go there. @42:30
This game looks like Craftopia

This game reminds me of Craftopia.
Nice
You had 2 available Skill Points at the beginning that would have helped you fight the enemies.

another game with another flying whale. At first, I thought GE was going to get attacked by a giant bug. LOL I want candy.
Watching this makes me think of ice world if you havent check it out GE

Not bad for a pre alpha but definitely shouldn’t be charging money yet.
@GE
So, this is the game with the factory that makes Zero's eh?
To be honest, not enough new ideas here to make it float.
Log out then log in?
is this game from the same people that made world adrift?
This game looks very nice. Just needs some updates. Then it would be super fun. Thanks for showcasing this game GE. As always, you are the best. 🤗🥰

Doesn't mean that you have to be a dick about it...
What games have you developed?
