in terms of physical stunts, Indiana Jones is still the nº1 action hero in my book; doesn't need a fast car with gimmicks or a machine gun/grenades; just his body, fists, wits, a whip and a revolver; it's a shame they didn't do a 4th movie circa 1992-94
The water behaved very well. Staining on the rails all the time, not falling into the endless pits of nothingness or lava, making it all the way to the end. :D
Back in the 80s, my sisters and I would watch this a lot and jump off of the top bunk or the sofa onto these giant cushions we had and yell “WASAYA!!!” like the cult member did. Our mom would walk into the room and say “Keep jumping off my furniture and I’m gonna ‘WASAYA’ all of you right in the ass!!”
Another perfect action sequence. Camera, editing, FX, structure of rising tension and resolution - amazing that one of film's greatest chase sequences takes place entirely on rails!
I say that the fact that this scene is even spoofed in a korean crazy black humor animated feature movie(Aachi & Ssipak), pretty much speaks for itself. Oh and I might be just being another biased Lucas-fanboy, but those at 1:07, those were definitely lightsaber sounds! xD

I liked the first movie and the Last Crusade, but just never could get into the Temple of Doom. It was just too slapstick for me, kinda like Conan the Barbarian being serious while Conan the Destroyer was not up to par.

How is a single water barrel, large as it may seem, able to traverse the distance they’ve covered, complete with NUMEROUS molten lava pits and STILL maintain a Tsunami like force by the time it reached them? Come on Mr. Spielberg, you can do better.
Spielberg's foolish movie this temple of doom, he insulted india with very poor script, that time world this Spielberg is correct, but he lied about india in this movie.
I love the sheer exhaustion of this sequence. Spielberg just doesn't let up and its awesome.
The mine cart scene holds up so well compared to most cinema these days.
I love how this is the only film I’ve seen where a *literal* rollercoaster ride leads to a *literal* cliffhanger 😂😂
Of course it does. Movies have been horrible for the last 15 years.

Honestly, the trilogy was damn near perfect. And Crystal Skulls was not a good film.

No offense to Indies' feet, but if the worst that happened to those boots after all that was hot soles, those are an impressive set of footwear.
Back in 1930s, the shoe soles were made from wood panels instead of rubber.

Parodied a billion times.
I liked the levels of Donky Kong Country that had the mine cart rides, even the music slightly parodied the the Raider’s March in at least one level.
