You know, I just turned 50, and I am SO worn out preparing beds and planting rows and rows of annuals. So I just bought 29 bare root roses with the knowledge I can't go on like this. Perennials may take up room when waiting for the next flush, but *they're already planted!!!* I JUMPED on this video - thank you! xo
I just love your videos! You’ve taught me so much!! I’m starting a flower farm in 2024 and I’m couldn’t be more excited!!! Thank you sir much for all of your videos!! 🎄🎄🎄
I love cutting my flowers and gifting to friends and neighbors. Looking to incorporate flowers that bloom at different times …something I struggle with for perennials …you gave me some great ideas!!!
Love this, Danielle, you have inspired me as a happy gardener all the way in Australia now for at least a year - all I have to do is flip the seasons and it gives me time to prepare. Thanks so much!
I can’t believe your bouquets are only 10.00. They are just stunning! Thanks for all of your videos. I have learned so very much from you and your calm demeanor!
Great Video! Thank you so much...I ran across your channel a week ago and now i find myself pausing so i can jump up and find my glasses, pen and notebook ... Again Thank you and God Bless you and your Slice of Heaven On Earth... Happy Gardening!
I have to get over my stinginess of not cutting more flowers for the house!! I want them there but want them in the garden too! I do cut peonies and later, sedum. One problem is that I have always grown perennials, reserving annuals for planters. As a result, not a lot of variety at any one time. This year - for the first time- have grown some great annuals from seed. Will do more next year. Your videos are inspirational!
I really enjoyed this video as I am trying to incorporate a cut garden section in my small yard. I would love to see a video on filler cut flowers as well. I was admiring some that you used in your containers in this video but didn't recognize them.
My goal is to have more cut flowers, along with pretty borders. I love learning from you, as you grow this way. I have only lived here in zone 5b for a year and 1/2, coming from zone 9, so still learning. I was blessed to have a group of peonies here. If you see this, and can answer...What is a good plant to grow with them? They grow in one area that gets 6 + hours of sun, and so much is shady in our garden. Also, how do you find out about regulations for selling flowers from your property? Go to the city? I realized my goal of having bouquets all Spring, summer, and beginning Fall, so may expand.
WOW!! Wish you lived near me!! Notice, I said YOU near me? 😂 I live in the south and can’t imagine ever leaving. Oh course, in the middle of the humid summer, I might would change my mind 😀
Hi any suggestions for planting seeds, Iused the seed pods for chives and marigolds and very few grew, so now I am trying paper towel with milk on the seeds on a plate with an opened zip lock bag.Your garden is gorgeous really love the Vitex , I think its prettier than the butterfly bush.Cindy Scarth, Coeurdalene, Idaho
Hi. Love your videos. Can you please tell me why my bleeding heart plants leaves are turning yellow. Is it too much water or not enough. I’m not familiar with the plant but i don’t want to lose it. Any advice would be helpful!!! Thanks
I'm in t he discovery process of finding what s grows and what doesn't on our new property amd can tolerate the deep freezing, long winters, springs and cool summers.
wow all of your flower bouquets look BEAUTIFUL would you share a little bit about your pricing and how many you sell in a day? You just sell off a table at the end of your driveway or are you a part of a market?
I'll be happy to share that with you! I've tried different things over the years, but now I mainly sell mixed bouquets at our farm stand on our land. I charge a flat $10 and put together bouquets accordingly for that price. They are always front facing bouquets. I put out 4-5 per day in the growing season. I have had some theft , but most people are honest. I think it depends alot of where you live - but that is what works for me! I still do higher priced bouquets for people that know us - but I don't put them at the stand.
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens interesting. Thank you so much for sharing ! we do an honor system egg table currently (for about 2 years) and have only ever had theft one time but this year we really want to grow our cut flower business off the stand. Thanks again for sharing
I live in zone 7a and my lilies come back year after year and increase in number as I let them go to seed, no lifting is necessary. Just be sure to remove the lily beetles before they destroy all your beautiful flowers. They are bright red and you may confuse them with ladybugs but they are extremely destructive.
Me from India want to work with flowers, want to settle their. Also want to fall in love with someone who is interested in me . It will be my pleasure if you will respond me. Thanks and regards

❤ Love them all!!!
Great video! Can you tell me what the variety of sedum is that is pictured at 2:49? It's gorgeous!
Hi Mark! That is autumn joy sedum. Looking at the picture I think I took that around the beginning the August before it turns darker pink.

What is the best growing condition for the peonies as far as sun and soil go?
Hello! Peonies prefer at least 6 hours of full sun. Most soils are fine as long as they have good drainage. Happy gardening!
@@NorthlawnFlowerFarmandGardens Can you make a video about PEONIES just as informative like the gardenia video please!!!!
Can we see more of your flower stand please?
is there any kind of cut flower that shouldnt sit in a vase together?
What is the name if the white peony?
Wow news ideie thank you from my channel indonesia
Forgot to ask how to get stem length on yarrow. Mine didn’t get very tall this first year
Thank you for sharing!
It really is a winner!
nice
is there any job available volunteer or normal please :)
I never have luck with peonies. I live in zone 9b in California and the peonies I planted all died. They are my favorite flower too ☹️
They don’t like a lot of sun so I planted mine in north facing and it’s doing much better. I live in Northern California.
😭🌿💗
