Ndah wasn’t gonna make any difference. Tito didn’t do much either. Look at how late Pirates scored their goals. The coach underestimated Magesi, and he paid the price. He could have introduced Ndlondlo early in the 2nd half to make the team play. If the coach carries on with his demonising ball players, he’s gonna get kicked out in the CAFCL. Well done to Magesi.
He didn’t underestimate Magesi. The players didn’t show up. Some of them were literally playing for themselves Dlamini started playing better because Tito was on the field. His pairing didn’t give home anything
@WithLuvC _"Dlamini started playing better because _*_Tito was on the field."_* Why was Tito _"off the field"_ in the first place?🤷♂️ He wasn't injured, was he?🤔 Lemme help you, Tito started off the bench because the coach thought Magesi would be a walkover! I think this is a blessing in disguise. As much as we want to win every game, our CAF and League commitments will need our Team to dig deeper than before. ☠️ONCEALWAYS☠️
Riveiro’s gonna regret doing away with ball players/playmaker, which he desperately needed in this game, but stiffened his neck and kept Ndlondlo on the bench. Tito plays for himself! Not the team. He selfishly wants to be on the ball at all material times, in all areas of the pitch. Today Pirates needed someone to collect the ball from the back and assist with link-up play, because Rasebotja was sitting, and Dlamini was drifting wide. None of them helped with link-up play. Ndlondlo would have changed things up a bit. With this attitude I don’t see Pirates going far in the CAFCL. They deserved to lose today’s game! Congrats to Magesi🎉

African teams win their matches in the middle of the park. They have holding midfielders who are also playmakers. Ndlondlo got kicked out. Timm out. That’s why Pirates are grinding results in almost every game. The coach hates ball players. He wants to play _skop & donner._ CAFCL is brutal. With the coach’s attitude and approach, I don’t see Pirates going far in the competition.
Playing without a holding midfielder is what made us lose this game. Our back 4 was exposed, there was no one protecting them. In the absence of a CM, on Tuesday, the coach should play Sesane as a CM because he is comfortable with the ball, then Maela must be paired with Sibisi.
Ndlondlo would have stabilised that midfield. And would have assisted with link-up play. But the coach wants nothing to do with ball players. With that attitude, he won’t go far in the CAFCL, and can forget about the league.
The absence of a DM was visible against Capetown City the 1st leg. We needed Makhaula so bad in that game to disrupt play but 2nd leg he was in the 1st team where he was excellent. But we need a better DM if I'm being honest
