Thanks, I put them down on saran (plastic wrap). When they cool , if I don't have a specific use immediately, I put them in a thick, hardcover book. Works beautifully
uh, that law was created because people were taking off the labels of full bottles to resell it or misrepresent the wine as something else. this is definitely not that. taking off the label for display is common practice in the craft community and is, i would argue, actually giving respect toward the winemakers and their brand. you could even see it as free advertisement lol.
It works! I've been looking for ages how to soak off non-water-based glues to put labels in my log/scrapbook - thank you!
Yes! Thank you, this was so helpful!
Im using the wine label as an escape room clue by writing on the back of it an re-applying! Thank you!!!

Worked Great! Thanks for the lesson. You rock!
I've been using the hot water method but yours is better, thank you for posting.
Clutch.... you came in clutch sis
Girl, thank you. What a great idea
I'm not a wine drinker but I'm sure this will work for beer bottle labels too. Thanks!
Just tried this and it worked Great. I left it in the oven for about 15 min and barely put the knife under it and it popped right off. Nice! Thanks
Awesome. So glad it worked for you. What are you going to do with the label? Cheers!
I’m going to put some in my journal and some will go in my wine tasting book. Now that I know how to get them off easy I may find some other ways.
Thank you for making this video. I wanted to know how to remove a wine label so that I could put it in my tasting journal
thanks for the walkthrough!
Happy to help!
Thank you! Worked perfectly!
So cool! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you! Love this idea
AWSOME - 🍷 You Go Woman 🍷 !!!
Wondering if the bottle is in good condition afterwards 🤔 wanting to use th e bottle for crafts
Yup, the bottle is in perfect condition. just let it cool down and you're good to go!
Oh, peel them off the saran
FYI, it is illegal to take labels off of wine bottles. Just saying
I didn't know that, Joe. Thanks for the heads up!
@joe Cornejo you are an idiot; when you purchase the bottle is your property you can do anything you want with it.

It may be illegal to remove a label from a full botttle and then RESELL it, but an empty bottle that you purchased? Not so much.
OOOOOOh The WINE BOTTLE LABEL POLICE WILL BE KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR
